Broadridge is hiring! We're seeking a Fixed Income Operations Manager to lead the end-to-end processing, control, and oversight of coupon, principal, and interest payments across fixed income portfolios. This role ensures that corporate action and income events are accurately captured, validated, processed, reconciled, and settled within required deadlines while maintaining strong operational controls, client service, and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily oversight of fixed income events, including coupon payments, principal repayments, maturities, amortizations, redemptions, paydowns, and default-related cash flows.
• Oversee calculation, validation, and booking of accrued interest, coupon entitlements, principal proceeds, withholding tax, and related fees.
• Ensure timely receipt, reconciliation, and allocation of cash payments from custodians, depositories, paying agents, and counterparties.
• Monitor event announcements and ensure accurate setup and maintenance of security terms, payment dates, record dates, rate resets, factor changes, and election details where applicable.
• Investigate and resolve breaks, failed payments, discrepancies, and aged exceptions with internal teams, custodians, fund administrators, brokers, and external service providers.
• Review daily cash reconciliations, and approve exception resolution in accordance with established controls.
• Maintain oversight of payment processing for government, corporate, municipal, agency, mortgage-backed, asset-backed, and other fixed income instruments.
• Establish and monitor operational procedures, service-level standards, key risk indicators, and performance metrics.
• Lead root-cause analysis for recurring errors and implement process, system, and control improvements.
• Ensure adherence to internal policies, regulatory requirements, audit standards, and client or fund documentation.
• Support internal and external audits, regulatory inquiries, client reporting, and operational due diligence requests.
• Manage, coach, and develop operations staff; set priorities, review workloads, and ensure appropriate coverage for critical payment cycles.
• Participate in system implementations, automation initiatives, data-quality enhancements, and testing related to fixed income operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, economics, or a related field; equivalent relevant experience may be considered.
• Significant experience in investment operations, custody, fund administration, or securities processing, with a focus on fixed income income and principal events.
• Demonstrated experience leading or supervising an operations team.
• Strong knowledge of fixed income instruments, including bonds, notes, mortgage-backed securities, asset-backed securities, and floating-rate instruments.
• Understanding of coupon calculations, accrued interest, day-count conventions, payment schedules, amortization, prepayments, maturities, and redemptions.
• Experience with cash and position reconciliations, exception management, and settlement controls.
• Ability to interpret security documentation, market notices, custodian communications, and payment instructions.
• Advanced analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills with strong attention to detail.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills and the ability to manage internal and external stakeholders.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and relevant investment operations, accounting, custody, or portfolio-management systems.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting institutional asset managers, banks, hedge funds, or fund administrators.
• Familiarity with SWIFT messaging, custodian platforms, depository processes, and corporate action or income-processing workflows.
• Knowledge of withholding tax, securities lending impacts, and cross-border fixed income payment processing.
• Experience with operational risk frameworks, process automation, and control design.

Compensation Range:The salary range for this position is between $105,000 to $130,000 USD. Broadridge considers various factors when evaluating a candidate's final salary including, but not limited to, relevant experience, location, skills, and education
