AVP - Product Owner, Enterprise Innovation Lab

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end product discovery, including market research, problem definition, customer validation, use-case identification, business case development, feasibility assessment, and implementation planning.
• Identify customer needs, market opportunities, and emerging technology use cases that can be translated into innovative products, services, or operational solutions.
• Act as Product Owner for assigned products, innovation initiatives, MVPs, prototypes, and proofs of concept from ideation through implementation.
• Partner with Product Managers and business stakeholders to define product vision, objectives, roadmaps, priorities, and success measures.
• Apply design thinking and structured problem-solving approaches to develop customer-centric solutions.
• Translate business needs into product capabilities, process flows, epics, features, user stories, and clear acceptance criteria.
• Own and prioritize the product backlog based on customer value, business objectives, technical dependencies, and delivery timelines.
• Lead agile delivery through backlog refinement, sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives, and ongoing tracking of outcomes.
• Work closely with Engineering, Architecture, UX, Business Analysis, and Testing teams to guide solution design and resolve functional or delivery challenges.
• Lead and develop a cross-functional team of engineers, blockchain developers, business analysts, testers, and other specialists.
• Build a culture of innovation, accountability, collaboration, continuous learning, and high performance.
• Manage senior stakeholders effectively and communicate product strategy, progress, risks, decisions, and outcomes.

Qualifications and Experience

• 10-15 years of experience across product ownership, product management, business analysis, innovation, consulting, or technology delivery.
• MBA in Finance from a Tier 1 or Tier 2 business school.
• Strong understanding of financial services and the capital markets ecosystem.
• Working knowledge of AI, blockchain, distributed ledger technology, tokenization, and other emerging technologies.
• Demonstrated experience building and delivering products, MVPs, prototypes, or proofs of concept.
• Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum practices and the Software Development Life Cycle.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and develop people.
• Strong critical thinking, structured problem-solving, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
• Ability to operate effectively in ambiguous, fast-paced, and rapidly evolving environments.
