The Learning Experience Designer is a creative strategist and thoughtful executor who blends the art of storytelling and experience design with the science of learning and behavioral insights. You’ll design engaging, intuitive, and scalable learning experiences and advise on the strategy, structure, and approach behind our development programs. You’ll work in close partnership with the Director of Learning & Team Development and the Learning Program Manager to shape overall learning strategy, experience architecture, and thoughtful rollout plans that bring these programs to life.
You’ll apply your ideas and expertise, and bring our business needs to life through experiences grounded in instructional design, UX principles, and behavioral science. From advisor role pathways to manager development and emerging initiatives, you’ll operate at the intersection of creativity and strategy, delivering impactful learner journeys across multiple modalities.

Learning Experience Design and Delivery:
- Design end‑to‑end learning experiences that are grounded in adult learning theory, behavioral science, and business priorities.
- Serve as a thought partner to stakeholders—clarifying outcomes, aligning on success measures, and translating needs and SME insights into clear, relevant learning narratives.
- Create modern, human-centered assets such as facilitator guides, eLearnings, scenarios, and reinforcement tools.
- Incorporate practice, feedback, and real‑world application to accelerate skill adoption and performance.
- Ensure experiences are inclusive, accessible, intuitive, and supported by clean visual design that enhances clarity and engagement across the learner journey.
- Occasionally facilitate or co‑facilitate virtual or live trainings.
Technology Integration & Innovation:
- Stay current with and integrate emerging learning technologies—including AI, adaptive learning platforms, and generative tools—into instructional design practices to enhance scalability, personalization, and learner engagement.
- Leverage AI-powered tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Articulate 360, Storyline) to streamline content creation, automate assessments, and generate learner personas that inform design decisions.
- Collaborate with UX/UI designers, developers, and data analysts to ensure learning experiences are intuitive, accessible, and aligned with behavioral science principles.
- Explore and apply innovative approaches such as microlearning, augmented reality, and data-driven personalization to elevate the learner journey.

Project Management:
- Own and project manage the design, development, and delivery of multiple training programs across the firm.
- Provide clear timelines and manage project phases in collaboration with stakeholders and SMEs.
- Use project planning tools to prioritize, sequence, and communicate deliverables.
- Ensure continuous feedback loops and maintain version control of learning materials.
Measurement & Continuous Improvement:
- Use data and learner feedback to identify needs and opportunities for improvement.
- Build evaluation into design using pilot feedback, usability testing, and behavior/application measures.
- Support post-launch measurement of comprehension, retention, and performance impact.
- Iterate on content and experiences based on feedback and data. Stay current on trends in learning science, experience design, and learning technologies.
Learning Technology & Innovation:
- Integrate emerging technologies—including AI—to enhance personalization and scalability.
- Use AI tools to accelerate design while ensuring quality and compliance.
- Collaborate with Marketing, developers, and analysts to ensure intuitive, accessible experiences.
- Apply innovative approaches (microlearning, AR, personalization) to strengthen learner engagement.
- Recommend tools and templates that improve consistency and learning adoption.
Qualifications - Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Adult Learning/Education, Education, or related field preferred; advanced degree/certification a plus.
- 3–5 years designing learning experiences across modalities.
- Ability to translate complex or regulated content into engaging learning that drives behavior change.
- Experience partnering with SMEs and stakeholders to shape content and strategy.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating design thinking and final deliverables.
- Proven ability to manage complex projects with shifting priorities.
- Experience facilitating live or virtual learning.
- Financial services/wealth management experience is a plus—but not required.
- This role is an in-office, full-time, and exempt position. We are a work from office culture with lots of flexibility

Qualifications - Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in authoring tools such as Captivate, Articulate (Storyline and Rise), or Camtasia.
- Experience with presentation and graphics tools (e.g., PowerPoint, Illustrator, InDesign).
- Experience designing asynchronous (on-demand) and synchronous (live) learning experiences.
- Experience working with and managing Learning Management Systems, preferably Docebo.
- Working knowledge of video/audio editing and basic front-end web design is a plus.
- Familiarity with collaboration tools (Miro, Figma) is a plus.

Compensation:
- Pay: $98,000 - $145,000 per year
