Senior Operating Model Specialist

The Senior Operating Model Specialist is responsible for designing and driving the implementation of part of the new commercial operating model, translating strategic intent into clear structures, roles, ways of working and performance frameworks across Local Partner Services (LPS) and/or other commercial teams, to deliver value to partners and Booking.com.
You and the team will work closely with other central teams to ensure alignment of initiatives, including Learning, Process & Tooling, Revenue Management, Regulatory, Data, Product teams, etc.
You own several of the most high impacting projects that are part of the operating model and ensure completion of it and alignment with all other initiatives within the team and the department. You will be in contact with Global and Regional management to ensure buy-in and global alignment of all operating model initiatives.
Key Job Responsibilities and Duties
- You will be driving strategic global transformation programs that are overseeing the performance of our people as part of our future operating model, with the ultimate goal to drive constant & conscious performance improvement.
- Responsible for driving large scale operating model change projects to improve channel performance (e.g. projects related to ways of working, steering and performance, etc.)
- Responsible for translation of strategic initiatives into the LPS operating model, enabling ways of working and Booking way of partner management
- Identify operational improvements by collecting information, generating insights and recommendations.
- Coordinate with relevant global & regional teams to ensure adequate implementation, communication, training & tracking of successful projects.
- You will be providing advice on the performance strategy to regional leadership to ensure all regions are performing at their maximum potential.

- Have a clear understanding of, and influence on, the business impact of commercial initiatives.
- Actively support others to find clarity on business initiatives and be widely accepted in the business as a key driver of value creation towards business ambitions.
- Be able to create consistent reporting to showcase results and business impact of different projects
Stakeholder management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with global and regional leadership in Partner Services and other relevant functions; be seen as a trusted advisor on operating model and performance topics.
- Facilitate cross-functional collaboration across Commercial, Revenue Management, HR, Learning, Analytics and other stakeholders to ensure solutions are end-to-end and sustainable.
- Proactively communicate complex concepts in a simple, structured way to non-expert audiences, ensuring clarity on what is changing, why, and what it means for teams
Role Qualifications and Requirements
- 5 years + experience working on people performance or operating model related topics
- 5 years + experience within a strategic program or project management role
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills;
- Experience in working with and influencing senior stakeholders.
- Proven commercial and problem-solving skills
- Excellent organizational agility and able to meet tight deadlines and prioritize in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment
- Strategic thinker, able to balance long-term vision with short- and medium-term goals
- Highly organised, pragmatic and results-focused; driven to manage projects full cycle
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
- Enjoys a fast paced, dynamic environment and able to work under pressure
