This role will be based out of our New York City Office!

Partnering with the Americas Accommodation Business Unit (ABU), the FP&A team plays a pivotal role in driving efficient decision-making, transparency and commercial growth. The Senior Financial Analyst in the region delivers on our strategic finance partnership across key business domains.

As the ABU continues its focus on global reach, the FP&A organization recognizes the critical need for regional finance partners who combine rigorous analytical capability with on-the-ground commercial acumen. Our FP&A organization partners closely with regional leaders to provide the data, insight, and challenges required to drive performance, investment, and long-term value.

The Senior Financial Analyst within the FP&A Regions team acts as an independent financial and strategic business partner to the regional leadership team in Americas. This role is responsible for forecasting, analyzing, and reporting the performance of the region, with a strong focus on both commercial impact and operational excellence.

In addition, the Senior Financial Analyst provides strategic advisory and consulting input to relevant business leaders, driving financial modelling and recommendations for short to long term growth opportunities in the region. This is a highly visible role within a dynamic, performance-oriented, and innovative organization, emphasizing openness, teamwork, and a commercial mindset.

You'll collaborate closely with commercial teams, Commercial Growth & Operations, and other business partners-ensuring Americas priorities are articulated in budgets, forecasts, and strategy processes. This role balances deep-dive financial modelling with hands-on, business-facing support, and will require confident presentation of findings to leadership.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Strategic Business Partnering: Engage with business stakeholders in the region to support objective setting and assess the financial impact of these, ensuring that Americas priorities are articulated in budgets, forecasts, and strategy processes.
  • Financial Planning Cycles & Process Improvement: Proactively identify, set up, and maintain processes with business stakeholders that support the different financial planning cycles and further improve strategic decision-making.
  • Commercial Bonus Framework: Assist with target setting for the bonus framework of commercial teams on the ground.
  • Business Reviews & Presence: Prepare for, participate and actively engage in Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) for the region, with travel as required.
  • Variance & Contribution Margin Analysis: Create meaningful and actionable variance analysis comparing financial results with all relevant comparison points as part of business control duties. Deliver monthly deep dives on Americas P&L, with a particular focus on margin improvement opportunities, critical KPIs, and improving the accuracy of unit economics, allocation methodologies, and data sources for better contribution margin reporting.
  • Scenario Modeling, ROI, and Business Cases: Provide reliable financial data and ROI-driven insights, through ad-hoc analysis, scenario modeling, and benchmarking, to support business and strategic decision-making within AMERICAS-including business cases for new investments or new market entries.
  • Competitor Benchmarking: Conduct regular competitor benchmarking and performance assessments, presenting actionable insights to regional leadership.
  • Dashboarding & KPI Reporting: Build insightful automated dashboards with business KPIs for the region to promote ownership and accountability, continuously enhancing regional dashboards and reporting frameworks.
  • Continuous Improvement & Best Practice Sharing: Collaborate with global FP&A and regional colleagues to share best practices, drive standardization, and ensure process consistency where possible.
  • Autonomy & Prioritization: Work almost independently on a variety of complex topics with limited supervision, setting priorities confidently and effectively.


What You'll Bring:

  • Advanced Knowledge: 5-8 years' experience delivering strong financial and strategic analysis along with tangible business recommendations to leadership. Prior experience in a matrixed/global environment preferred.
  • Strategic & Problem-Solving Mindset: Strategic thinker with a strong drive for actionable, data-driven insight. Able to distill complex data and present clear, commercial insights to leadership. High attention to detail with the ability to see the bigger picture. A high level of curiosity and proactiveness is expected in this role.
  • Communication & Business Partnering: Excellent communicator, adept at presenting to and influencing senior stakeholders across levels and functions.
  • Financial Modelling: Advanced financial modeling and scenario planning skills, with experience building complex business cases to inform commercial or investment decisions.
  • Business Control: Experience in business control with variance analysis, understanding of management accounting, contribution margin drivers, and tools like Anaplan and OneStream.
  • Technical Expertise & Automation: Broad technical skillset, with experience in process improvement and automation of finance tasks.
  • Data Analysis & Visualization: Proficient in data processing and visualization tools such as Excel, SQL, Tableau, MicroStrategy. Experience building dashboards and connecting multiple sources of data.
  • Collaboration & Adaptability: Strong team player and collaborator, comfortable both independently and within cross-functional and unstructured environments.
  • Networking & Relationships: Proven ability to build and maintain relevant networks and strong relationships across the organization.
