At Booking.com, we are all involved in making hundreds of decisions every day. The decisions we make are a reflection of our Values - they reflect what is important to us, both as individuals and as an organisation.
When Values are made explicit, they provide clarity on what "good" looks like. And when they are shared, they build unity in a group. They build culture.
- Think customer first. We obsess about adding value for our customers - guests, partners, colleagues - to make it easier for everyone to experience the world.
- Own it. We deliver on our promises, make informed decisions and prioritize to get the important things done today.
- Learn forever. We are resilient, take time to reflect, and seek to learn - from colleagues, from the outside world and from our failures.
- Succeed together. We celebrate team success, through making connections, building trust and valuing the diverse perspectives of others.
- Do the right thing. We get the right results the right way. For each other, our communities and the world around us.
Profile
Fintech plays a vital part in delivering the 'connected trip' to our customers. Our FinTech business unit - with teams in Amsterdam, Bangalore (via our CoE) and London - develops new products and drives innovation to help us continue removing financial friction from the travel process. That makes buying and selling travel-related products and services simpler for both travellers and partners. The scope is massive and constantly increasing: 50+ countries, millions of partners, hundreds of millions of end customers and a hundred billion Euros in payments volume.

In this journey, Fintech is at the centre of the wider Booking Holdings group and of key importance for our customers and partners. The Fintech business unit not only creates novel financial products but helps to unlock the potential of other Booking.com functions, and of the other Holdings Brands. Fintech owns the design and build of the Tech infrastructure of Booking Holding's related tax and other financial regulatory requirements, which make the Booking Holdings Financial Services (BHFS) entity a critical partner. Fintech is the strongest contributor to new incremental revenue for the wider group and accountable to maintain flawless reliability across its system landscape. Ultimately, it aims to be a payments service provider for 3rd parties, an independent brand within the Booking Holdings group and generate new sources of revenue.
To enable all of this, some key large transformation programs are required to be run, and are required to ensure that our operational risk levels are maintained at levels that match our risk appetite.
