Senior Application Specialist Salesforce

As a Senior Application Specialist you will be responsible for the overall execution of the Commercial tooling roadmap and vision, created in collaboration with the Platform Manager and the Commercial Tooling Manager.
You will join the Commercial Tooling team and collaborate with our Process, Product, Tech and DPE Leaders to translate business needs into efficient solutions within the system, mainly focusing on the CRM tool supplied through Salesforce Sales Cloud. You will be a key member of the migration of our internal CRM to Salesforce for our 1200+ employees in our Commercial department (Local Partner Services).
This is primarily an individual contributor role, were it is possible to coach and mentor others depending on skills, experience, development plans and business needs.
Key Job Responsibilities and Duties
- Execute and refine the roadmap for the team based on strategic priorities and the need to keep the light on.
- Formulate Epics and proactively work with other Product Teams within and outside the track to tackle dependencies.
- Take a leading role in Backlog grooming of the Commercial Tooling team and prioritising work in line with the roadmap during sprint planning.
- Collaborate with Commercial Operations and the Product organization with regards to change management and enablement.
- Act as a point of escalation and help managing stakeholder expectations with regards to competing priorities, keeping the ultimate vision and roadmap in mind.
- Monitor and track progress against the roadmap through the agreed governance and processes.
- Mentor junior colleagues on Salesforce best practices and methods.
Role Qualifications and Requirements
- 5 - 8 years hands-on experience with Salesforce.com platform.
- Certified Salesforce Consultant in Sales Cloud.
- Fluent English.
- Strong technical background comfortable with developing this critical service and the ability to translate technical insights into business opportunities
- Excellent project and stakeholder management skills.
- The ability to communicate efficiently both strategic vision and specific details to a range of stakeholders.
- Good understanding of technical requirements, ways of working and standards.
- A creative problem solver with a deep curiosity about our business and product.
- A solid understanding of business processes and strategy, with a deep product knowledge of the technologies that they own.
- The ability to write clear and concise product requirements, status updates and product results.
- Strong analytical skills - able to interpret data and trends, diagnose problems, and recommend effective action plans to resolve issues.
- Proven track record to thrive in a fast paced, results driven environment with multiple responsibilities, whilst also taking the time for reflection on personal, team and product level.
