As a Salesforce Application Specialist you will be responsible for designing, developing and implementing new Salesforce features across the commercial organisation, as well as leading the organisation through migration from current systems. You actively drive the Product strategy by understanding user needs, as well as working closely with Developers, Platform Manager, Senior Application Specialist and other product teams.

A Salesforce Application Specialist is deeply committed to solving user (customer, partner and/or other users) pain points and identifying opportunities to improve their experience.
This is primarily an individual contributor role, were it is possible to coach and mentor others depending on skills, experience, development plans and business needs. This is a great opportunity for someone with Salesforce administration experience that is really looking to grow their career.
Key Job Responsibilities and Duties
- Execute the migration roadmap from existing systems to Salesforce as well as integration with other existing systems and data infrastructures.
- Collaborate with impacted Stakeholders in gathering business requirements from end-users and document the proposals for system design and improvement.
- Implement features within Salesforce with a focus on automation and efficiency through Process Builders and Flows for a seamless end to end experience.
- Performs systems administration functions such as user management (profiles and roles), field and validation rule configuration, process builders, Workflow rules, Lightning Flows, record types, picklists, page layout management, mobile setup, data management.
- Provide training and user-assistance, support adoption, and create satisfaction.
- Create and maintain reports and dashboards, as well as Salesforce data quality.
- Network on operational, managerial and strategic level across the department.
Role Qualifications and Requirements
- 3-5 years hands-on experience with Salesforce.com platform.
- Certified Salesforce Administrator in Sales Cloud.
- Certified Salesforce Consultant preferred.
- Fluent English.
- Understanding of relational databases, and data integration tools.
- Proven ability to design and implement new processes, and facilitate user adoption.
- Strong understanding of Salesforce Best Practices and functionality.
- Understanding of data mappings (source to target) for integrations.
- Familiarity with Agile development team practices, tools and framework.
- Strong analytical, strategic thinking ad problem solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and a commitment to collaborate with people.
- Demonstrated ability to understand and articulate complex requirements.
