FinTech business unit - with teams in Amsterdam, Bangalore, London and Shanghai - develops new products and drives innovation to help us continue removing financial friction from the travel process. That makes buying and selling travel-related products and services simpler for both travelers and partners.

Payments are a complex, competitive, and exciting industry. As a Product Manager in Partner Payments, you will be working together with engineering, design and data science teams on creating payments solutions that help our partners grow their business. The scope is massive: 50+ countries, hundreds of thousands of partners, and billions of dollars in payments volume.

In this role, you will be leading the Payment Modernization team, whose goal is to lead and deliver modernization projects that will allow our internal platforms to scale and reduce the time to market for new products.

Role Overview

  • Lead the planning and delivery of large scale modernization projects
  • Leverage understanding of how payments works - within and outside Booking - in order to drive the discovery, planning and delivery of platform functions that enable faster and more reliable payments to our partners..
  • Closely work with internal technical teams to ensure a comprehensive roadmap of features, prioritize them by impact and scale and drive the delivery.
  • Define KPIs for the product, track performance metrics, and iterate based on teams feedback


Qualifications and Skills

  • A track record for shipping large-scale, successful software platform products
  • Track record of handling a variety of external stakeholders
  • 6+ years of product management experience
  • Experience in payments or financial products at a global tech company
  • Ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization
  • Proficiency in product discovery and product delivery techniques;
  • Familiarity with the software development lifecycle, and basic technical understanding of how large-scale systems are built.
