Partnerships Manager - 12 month FTC

The Cars commercial Supply Management (SM) team exists to ensure we have the strongest possible relationships, contracts and commercials within the car rental market, ensuring we deliver a best in class offer to our customers and our partners. The complex suite of operating models that exists within car rental requires the SM team, at all levels, be able to conduct complex negotiation of contracts, commissions, net rates, rebates, promotions, product types and T&Cs. Managing partner relationships is fully within the control of the SM team and complex, requiring management of pricing and trading performance through close working with Revenue Management & Marketing functions. SM is also fully accountable for owning all partner CX metrics and driving improvements in the experience customers receive from partners. The SM team is accountable for ensuring we deliver company revenue and net margin targets.

Role Overview

Responsible for executing Booking.com's commercial strategy in a defined market(s), by supporting the development of local and regional opportunities and optimising the relationships with partners and external parties. Responsible for delivering outstanding commercial results across all commercial metrics, and building exceptional relationships with our partners measured by our bi-annual partner surveys.

Support Regional Partnership Managers in annual commercial negotiations, and ad-hoc marketing asks, using trading data and business acumen to deliver the best possible value for our customers, our partners and for Booking.com

Key Job Responsibilities and Duties

  • Responsible for supporting the development of local opportunities including, but not limited to, new partner contracting and onboarding, commercial negotiation and promo sourcing, and playing a leading role in the relationships with all partners in their Market(s).
  • Be the source of truth for our day to day trading results, and lead internal and external business reviews to drive each partnership and region towards our joint targets.
  • Representing Booking.com to partners in market visits and at local and regional tourism events , with the goal to develop ever stronger partnerships, driving our mutual business and ensure close relationships with local stakeholders.
  • Responsible for delivering our commercial targets for the partners they manage within their geographical region
  • Ensuring collaboration with other channels and functions within the organisation to achieve targets and KPIs
  • Each Partnerships Manager is responsible for approximately 20 supply partners and 5% of total global car rental revenue
