Role Overview

This role contributes to the development of the Booking.com business growth, by helping to develop and execute the most effective media plans targeted to our audiences across the globe. You will support the Brand Media Team in the operational core of media planning and execution for Booking.com marketing campaigns, contributing to effective and efficient media workflows. Manages the day-to-day financial activities (POs, budget tracking, invoicing), works closely with creative and external agencies on trafficking and campaign delivery, and assists with projects to onboard new AI and budgeting tools. Gains exposure to high-profile campaigns including NBA, MLB, WNBA, UEFA EUROS, Eurovision, and IP partnerships like Netflix Wednesday, Ghostbusters, Little Mermaid, and The Idea of You.

The role will also support the delivery of our global media agenda to ensure media planning at Booking.com is "best in class" with a focus on media excellence, agility, automation and data-centricity. This includes collating media performance and reporting, media auditing, budgeting and financial management.

Key Job Responsibilities and Duties

  • Supports operational aspects of global media planning, including budget tracking, financial reconciliation, and campaign documentation, ensuring alignment to the wider team's processes.
  • Assists in developing, testing, and integrating new AI, automation, and budgeting tools with the media and analytics teams.
  • Manages purchase orders (POs), invoice processing, accruals, and contributes to monthly budget tracking and reconciliation for paid media investments.
  • Coordinates trafficking of creative assets, working with internal creative teams and external agencies to ensure timely delivery and proper asset usage across paid channels.
  • Collates and organizes media spend and performance data which supports reporting tasks, and helps prepare materials for post-campaign analysis, econometric modeling, and learning reviews.
  • Maintains clear communication with internal digital media teams and external agency partners, supporting project timelines and keeping stakeholders updated on deliverables.
  • Supports campaign execution for a range of high-profile regional and global marketing activations, with opportunities to observe and contribute to campaigns featuring major sports and entertainment partnerships.
  • Collaborates on team learning and process-improvement initiatives, bringing an operational focus and supporting a culture of best-in-class media execution.

Role Qualifications and Requirements

  • 1-3 years experience in planning and delivering paid media or marketing campaigns across digital and offline channels
  • Experience in an e-commerce or tech environment is preferred. Either in house or agency.
  • Experience in multi-market or large market experience in either EU, AU or US preferred
  • Natural curiosity to media and passion for the industry.
  • Strong project and process management skills, multitasking, with high attention to detail
  • Comfortable in a dynamic, data-driven environment
  • English Fluency
