Role Description:
The Inbound Sourcer is responsible for screening all suitable direct applicants, serving as the first point of contact for candidates within Booking.com's talent ecosystem, and leading the sourcing strategy and talent attraction for roles that generate a high volume of applicants. You will deliver a seamless, high-quality candidate experience by managing key stages of the recruitment process and acting as the expert in maximizing candidate engagement, identifying inbound application trends, and driving effective attraction strategies.
You will build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders across Talent Acquisition, Talent Attraction, and the wider business through effective communication. The role involves managing large applicant volumes, driving targeted referral campaigns, and achieving both individual and team goals within the Inbound Sourcing Team. Success in this position will require agility, strong organisational skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. As demand needs evolve, adaptability and quick learning will be essential.
Key Job Responsibilities and Duties:
- Drive efficiencies against individual scorecard metrics & targets.
- Review, assess, and manage suitable applicants and referrals efficiently from Job Applicant to Sourcer Submit stage within set timeframes for active requisitions. [48 hours for Referrals & 72 hours for External applicants]
- Manage online assessment processes and progress successful candidates through subsequent screening stages (HackerRank and Maki language tests).
- Engage and qualify active talent for current openings and future recruitment needs.
- Conduct phone interviews to evaluate technical and soft skills, interest level, salary expectations, and alignment with Booking.com's values.
- Partner with Recruiters and Hiring Managers to drive the referral generation and screening process, including facilitating hire-from-your-network sessions.
- Strengthen stakeholder relationships through proactive communication and collaboration across recruitment and business teams.
- Maintain accurate market intelligence and candidate data in the ATS to ensure full data integrity.
- Review reporting data daily to verify accuracy and alignment with personal objectives, individual scorecards and data integrity targets.
- Use reporting insights and analytics to influence hiring decisions, highlighting trends such as application volume, quality, market insights, and referral performance.
- Evaluate advertising channels and job postings, providing recommendations to enhance candidate quality and attraction efforts.
- Lead and own campaigns focused on increasing the percentage of hires generated through referrals against defined targets.
- Build and maintain pipelines of prequalified candidates and referrals for both current and future roles, ensuring consistent candidate flow and excellent service to internal stakeholders.

Qualifications & Skills:
- Experience in recruiting, sourcing, or high-volume applicant screening within an in-house Talent Acquisition team or agency environment.
- Strong skills in CV/application review, structured phone interviewing, and assessment of both technical and soft skills, including values alignment.
- Demonstrated proficiency with ATS systems and recruitment reporting/analytics, ensuring high data integrity and using insights to drive decisions against KPIs and SLAs.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with experience partnering with Recruiters and Hiring Managers and supporting referral-generation initiatives.
- Highly organised, data-driven, and resilient, with the ability to manage multiple requisitions, meet strict turnaround times, and maintain an excellent candidate experience in a fast-paced environment.
