Flights Operations Project Lead

A trip usually starts with a flight. The Flights team's mission is to offer a wide selection of flights, great value for money and the easiest end-to-end booking experience. We partner with our Strategic partner Etraveli Group to make our mission a reality and have ambitious goals over the next years.

The Flights Operations (Project) Lead is responsible for leading the end to end execution of projects, governance processes and operational changes across our Growth Operations Track, within the Flights Operations Function.

The role will report to the Growth Operations Manager based in Amsterdam and be part of the Growth Operations team.

Key Job Responsibilities & Duties:

  • Lead the end to end execution of specific projects from scoping, building the business case and closure of the project/initiative
  • Identify and drive the set-up, kick-off and execution of new/improved business as usual processes between B.com Flights, internal stakeholders and our Strategic Partner
  • Actively manage coordination of the programs, the governance cycle and escalation processes
  • Drive process improvements
  • Drive change management within the Flights department to adopt new processes and ways of working

Role Qualifications and Requirements:
  • Strong experience of project management (8+ years experience as a project manager).
  • Worked in large scale technology environments.
  • Experience of process improvements and change management.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills and experience influencing at management level (up to Director)

  • You are a fast learner, can demonstrate new skills learned throughout career.
  • You have excellent stakeholder management skills, worked cross functionally frequently.
  • You are proactive and able to identify process improvements opportunities
  • You have good commercial awareness and are able to understand basics of business drivers
  • You are comfortable working with teams and stakeholders based in different locations (Amsterdam, Stockholm, London and Athens).
  • The role could require some business travel to our Strategic partner (Sweden - Stockholm, Greece -Athens) around once per quarter.
