We're the thrill of the first night in a new place. The excitement of the next morning. The friends you encounter. The journeys you take. The sights you see. And the memories you make. Through our products, partners and people, we make it easier for everyone to experience the world.

Role Description:

The Central Tech Analytics Team is the primary data and insights partner for Leadership, Tech, and Product teams. The team is responsible for transforming operational, financial, engineering, and workforce data into clear, actionable insights, providing stakeholders with the dashboards, analysis, and insights necessary for informed decision-making.

As a Data Analyst I you'll work on analytics tasks such as reporting, visualization and analysis within the scope of the team. You are expected to combine your understanding of the business with the knowledge of data, workflows, methods and tooling to largely autonomously drive analysis and reporting. You will also collaborate with peers in the craft and follow best practices ensuring data quality and stability.

Key Job Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Owning the design and delivery of parts of Data Analytics solutions based on business requirements, contributing to bringing them from the initial idea-generation phase to implementation with some supervision
  • Working independently on consuming data, preparing it for analytical use and translating business problems to data stories
  • Delivering work that informs business decisions for the product / business topic you work on
  • Leveraging foundational skills in data analysis and data visualization to answer business questions
  • Incorporating stakeholder requirements when creating intuitive and insightful visualizations that translate data into actionable insights
  • Connecting and collaborating with stakeholders in operational and project-based roles
  • Using effective communication to address stakeholders' needs and presenting data insights in an accessible, business-friendly manner.
  • Being flexible in adopting existing internal Data Analytics approaches and expanding your technical competencies when a more efficient way presents itself
  • Networking and proactively connecting with craft peers and peers in related crafts (ie. Data Engineering) beyond the team's scope to ensure successful outcomes.
  • Ensuring quality of your own work by validating it through peer review.

Qualifications & Skills:
  • Minimum of 2 year of experience in a data or software adjacent field, working with systems and data infrastructure at scale.
  • Strongly preferably experienced in working in a technical/engineering scope rather than commercial analytics scope
  • Proficiency in data analysis languages (e.g., SQL, Python)
  • Proficiency in building dashboards and using visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)
  • Independent in working with ETL/ELT tools and methodologies
  • Independent in working with relational databases and any flavor of SQL in an analytical context
  • Ability to explain analyses clearly and present ideas in a structured way
