Connectivity Partner Engagement Specialist

The Connectivity Partnerships team partners with more than 600 Connectivity Partners that provide technology solutions helping accommodations manage their business across multiple platforms, streamline operations and optimize the guest experience.

The Connectivity Partner Engagement Specialist is responsible for improving partner engagement and satisfaction by ensuring we deliver high-quality, relevant and effective communications and engagement opportunities.

A key responsibility is to own and govern the global go-to-market (GTM) process, acting as the single point of contact for digital partner-facing communications (such as email, webinars and slack. This includes process ownership, continuous improvement, calendar management, quality control and reporting. The role requires a strong stakeholder manager and confident personality who can influence stakeholders, challenge where needed and ensure teams follow the GTM process and maintain a consistently high standard of communication

The role also owns the global in-person partner event sponsorship framework, managing the budget and working with stakeholders to assess event requests, prioritize opportunities and ensure the right supporting assets are in place.

The role covers two key domains:

  • Global digital Connectivity Partner outreach, including the partner newsletter and other scalable communications channels such as Slack and webinars.
  • Communities - Events:
    • Partner-sponsored event coordination across EMEA, NORAM and APAC.
    • Central coordination of our narrative & guidelines at regional Booking events (Elevate) across EMEA, NORAM and APAC.

The successful candidate will combine strong stakeholder management, process ownership and commercial judgment to ensure our partner engagement is consistent, efficient and impactful

Key Job Responsibilities and Duties:

Partner Engagement Performance
  • Day to day activities include facilitation, planning and delivery of GTM (digital) and Connectivity partner sponsored events (in-person).
  • Monitor reach and engagement of digital and in-person touchpoints to provide reports, insights and feedback to stakeholders.
  • Continuous improvement of internal GTM processes and partner sponsored events frameworks to simplify the stakeholder way of working.

Partner Engagement Operations
  • Consult stakeholders on how to effectively make GTM plans. Contribute to planning and support execution of integrated market plans in alignment with the approach from key marketing stakeholders.
  • Manage the yearly partner sponsorship events that includes budgeting, monitoring, content and asset delivery to support successful execution. Support various elements of key centrally led events planning that spans across scoping venues for events, social elements and vendor payouts
  • Coordinate with all necessary stakeholders (eg. product marketing manager, commercial teams, marketing and events teams) to ensure timeliness of deliverables of GTM and partner sponsored event activities.

Partner Engagement Innovation
  • Manage complex projects/activities/campaigns that enhance channel performance and partner relationships.
  • Investigate, test and develop new opportunities that contribute to improvements to partner engagement channels / content / experiences.
  • Drive efficiency within the team by consistently innovating processes and approaches to further create value.
  • Always looks at automation for scalable solutions to create value by improving partner experience and becoming more agile when operating.

Business impact
  • Have a clear understanding of, and influence on, the business impact of team projects.
  • Actively support others to find clarity on business initiatives and be widely accepted in the business as a key driver of value creation towards business ambitions.
  • Be able to create consistent reporting to showcase results and business impact on different projects.

Stakeholder Management
  • Use expertise and interpersonal skills to manage stakeholders and innovate towards achieving ambitions together and create high performing working relationships .
  • Be seen as a Connectivity partner engagement expert and key driver/iterator of stakeholders' goals ultimately driving additional value to the business.


Role Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Strong stakeholder management that is pro-active in involving the right stakeholders, including the manager, on the right time.
  • Relevant experience - 3+ years
  • Experience in business-to-business marketing, working in a commercial setting of a global, multichannel e-commerce company.
  • Experience with data analysis and reporting (able to work with queries is a plus)
  • Being able to solve problems creatively and pro-actively:, starting small, failing fast, and applying their learnings.
  • Innovation skills (creativity, critical thinking, strategic thinking, and problem solving)
  • Excellent project management skills.
  • Great social and stakeholder management skills.
  • Excellent oral and written English communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills, ability to prioritize tasks, and manage time efficiently. High performer with the ability to manage parallel tracks and expectations for project scope changes, seeing intersection points, and mitigating risks.
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment that changes rapidly.
