Program Facilitator

Remote

BGV is an NGO, dedicated to providing Black/Brown woman-identifying founders with access to community, capital, and capacity building in order to meet business milestones that lead to economic advancement through entrepreneurship.

For our Prorgam Facilitator, we're looking for:

Responsibilities:
Ongoing communication with current and incoming BGV Members to support the scaling of the program.
Creation of the process for regular touchpoints and constant contact with BGV Members to support their personal growth.
Serve as a community connector to remind BGV Members of all BGV has to offer.
Ensure smooth and proper functioning of the BGV Member Training; assessing issues & risks.

Communicating with the Program Director about issues and needs; including help with resources and concerns about BGV Members.
Serves as a constant anchor to support BGV's Member community growth.
Encouraging respect for ideas and steering conversations during the BGV Member Training.
Administering, tracking, and reviewing progress of BGV Member Training, and its participants.
Create an inclusive and equitable program culture for all BGV Member participants.
Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
Ability to work independently and under pressure.
An energetic, outgoing charismatic personality.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Attention to detail is vital.
Flexible, reliable and trustworthy.
Proficient computer skills are required.
Strong agility to shift directions in a changing work environment.
Good research and problem solving skills.
Ability to work with a high functioning entrepreneurial thinker.
Excellent written, analytical and verbal communication.
Minimum 2 years relevant work experience.
Preference for Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Communications, Public Relations or Business Administration
Preference for demonstrated interest in inclusive innovation or other diversity-related issues.
Ability to show initiative and work well as part of a small team.
