About This Role: As our Value & Access Sr Manager for Latin America North (LAN), you will play a pivotal role in advancing Biogen's business outcomes in Mexico and Colombia. Your efforts will focus on effectively positioning our portfolio with payers, accounts, and other key stakeholders by developing compelling value-based messages, technical tools, and strategic initiatives. You will manage the strategic direction of Biogen's value proposition across both markets, ensuring our products meet customer needs and decision drivers. This role is integral to achieving coverage and expanding market share for Biogen's offerings, fitting seamlessly within the broader business framework to enhance our influence in the healthcare landscape.

What You'll Do:

  • Develop and implement pricing, health economics, and market access reimbursement strategies to fulfill LAN's objectives.
  • Oversee projects that support the strategic management of Biogen's value proposition in Mexico and Colombia.
  • Lead the creation and execution of negotiation strategies and value propositions for assigned therapeutic areas.
  • Assist in strategic and tactical activities related to HEOR evidence, technical dossiers, and Market Access Tools.
  • Design KPI frameworks and pricing strategies to support reimbursement and market access strategies.
  • Engage in therapeutic area coverage, including Multiple Sclerosis and Spinal Muscular Atrophy, while scouting potential for new pipeline products.

Who You Are: You are adept at navigating complex healthcare landscapes and excel at building strong relationships with stakeholders. Your bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish enhances your ability to communicate value propositions effectively. You possess a deep understanding of the Mexican healthcare system, and your experience in specialty care, particularly high-cost or rare diseases, makes you a valuable asset. Your strategic mindset and analytical prowess drive successful outcomes in market access and reimbursement.

Required Skills:

  • Fluent in English and Spanish.
  • Degree in healthcare sciences, economics, business, or similar field.
  • 5+ years of experience in similar roles within multinational healthcare companies.
  • In-depth knowledge of the Mexican healthcare system; knowledge of the Colombian market is advantageous.
  • Expertise in health economics and outcomes research.
  • Experience in specialty care, particularly high-cost or rare diseases.
  • Proven track record in fostering relationships with senior-level stakeholders, including government and healthcare providers.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with high-cost or rare diseases in specialty care.
  • Familiarity with Colombian healthcare market dynamics.
  • Strong negotiation and strategic planning capabilities.
