Utilities Technician III
About This Role:
As a Utilities Technician III, you will be an integral part of our facilities management team, ensuring the seamless operation of our plant's mechanical and electrical systems. You will provide troubleshooting expertise and serve as a subject matter expert for one or more utility systems, thereby ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our operations. Your role will involve overseeing repairs, corrective maintenance, and preventive measures, while also responding to alarms within GMP areas and controlled spaces. You will work autonomously, coordinating shift activities and interdepartmental operations to support continuous 24/7 utility operations. By maintaining and updating utilities plans, your technical knowledge will enhance our operational effectiveness and contribute to our business's overall success. Your efforts will ensure our facility remains a leader in safety, quality, and efficiency across our industry.
What You'll Do:
- Operate and maintain all utility systems supporting manufacturing processes.
- Provide training and serve as a system expert for utility system operations.
- Respond to and resolve critical alarms, logging equipment readings and investigating as necessary.
- Monitor systems via BMS and DeltaV control systems for optimal performance.
- Conduct mechanical space tours to identify and mitigate potential issues.
- Coordinate shift activities and allocate work in line with operational plans.
- Execute initial troubleshooting and impact assessments for utility systems.
- Maintain and verify logbook records, ensuring accurate documentation.
- Oversee quality management activities, including QRM, deviations, and CAPA.
- Prepare for utility operations, identifying tools and contacting stakeholders.
- Adhere to all technical, safety, and quality instructions and protocols.

Required Skills:
- High School Diploma with a minimum of 5 years of industry experience.
- Mechanical or technical building training with a recognized certificate of competence.
- At least 5 years of experience in operations of industrial systems, preferably within pharmaceutical, chemical, nuclear, or FMCG sectors.
- Ability to work in a 5-shift model.
- Minimum English B1 Level proficiency.
- Knowledge of steam generation (boilers).
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with SCADA monitoring systems, DeltaV, and Siemens DESIGO BMS.
- Strong interpersonal skills for effective coordination of interdepartmental activities.
- Proficiency in quality management processes and documentation.
