About This Role:
As the Senior Manager in Commercial Data Management, you will be a pivotal member of the US Commercial Markets IT team, where your expertise in data management will shine. Data Management includes product ownership, architecture, quality, compliance, model, access and monitoring. You will craft conceptual, logical, and physical data models, ensuring the integrity and consistency of our data assets. Your role will be central to collaborating with business stakeholders across Cross-Functional IT Teams and US Business Stakeholder Teams. You will design and maintain robust commercial data models that drive business insights and decision-making. In this role, you will manage data within our warehouse, drawing from systems like Veeva CRM, Marketing Sources and Snowflake. This role is crucial in supporting key Therapeutic Areas in the US thus enhancing our commercial data's overall value and accessibility.
What You'll Do:
- Oversee all aspects of the commercial data lifecycle, from ingestion and data model to data quality and architecture, ensuring data is managed effectively and securely
- Create and maintain conceptual, logical, and physical data models for data consistency and integrity
- Partner with business units to understand data requirements, identify key data assets, and provide strategic input and direction on data usage
- As an IT Product Owner for a Therapeutic Area, support Agile Safe Framework for Implementation of initiatives
- Collaborate with data engineers to optimize data pipelines, manage data models, and support the deployment of data platforms and storage solutions
- Translate business requirements into Business Ready Snowflake Views/Star Schema Models
- Manage data within the US Snowflake warehouse from systems such as Veeva CRM, Veeva Network, Veeva Align, Marketing Sources
- Architect, build and optimize ETL/ELT processes for data management within Snowflake.
- Support data governance initiatives related to commercial data privacy and compliance
- Support and Enhance Data Quality Framework needed for US Commercial Data
- Support AI and Agentic AI initiatives on Snowflake Services such as Cortex/Intelligence
- Provide training and support to stakeholders on Data Catalog usage.
- Ensure data compliance and security with HIIPA regulations

Required Skills:
- Bachelor's degree and 10+ years of experience.
- Mandatory experience in data management within Snowflake
- Extensive knowledge of Snowflake SQL/Architecture/Scaling/Cost Management
- Proficiency in Dimensional model methodology
- Working Knowledge of Commercial Data for a biotech company
- Experience working with Salesforce, Veeva CRM, Veeva Align, Veeva Network, Patient Claims, Marketing Data Sources such as Websites, Campaigns, social media
- Experience working across complex architecture alliances with partner companies and governance implementations
- Experiences in all facets of SDLC - Development, Testing, Production Deployments and Operations
- Experience managing offshore contractors for data management work
- Experience working in SAFE Agile Framework for Implementation
- Ability to work inclusively, collaboratively, to deliver data products within IT and with different Stakeholders
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with data modeling tools such as Erwin
- Experience working with Informatica Data Quality
- Knowledge in Implementation of Agentic AI products for Data Management such as Snowflake Cortex AI, Intelligence
Job Level: Management
Additional Information
The base compensation range for this role is: $131,000.00-$175,000.00
Base salary offered is determined through an analytical approach utilizing a combination of factors including, but not limited to, relevant skills & experience, job location, and internal equity.
Regular employees are eligible to receive both short term and long-term incentives, including cash bonus and equity incentive opportunities, designed to reward recent achievements and recognize your future potential based on individual, business unit and company performance.
