About This Role

The Senior Manager, Insights & Analytics will play a critical role within the US Alzheimer's team. You will be a proactive strategic thought partner for the US Brand team, responsible for driving actionable insights & deep understanding of the customer, overall market, and competitive landscape. You will be a subject matter expert in Market research with deep understanding of Market research in areas like - Demand assessment, Segmentation, Field Force effectiveness and Behavioral Science methodologies to drive insights.

This role plays a vital part in shaping the direction of the business and contributing to brand success. You will directly support the US Alzheimer's brand team, focused on building foundational insights and building a go-to-market roadmap for one pipeline asset across multiple indications. You will provide critical insights for informed decisions, allowing for competitive positioning, and driving strategic initiatives based on an insights-driven approach. As a key partner to commercial and marketing leadership, you will help identify & address the most important business problems facing the franchise and help to develop forward-looking, holistic and integrated market research and analytical plans to support brand strategy development and launch planning.

What You'll Do

Insights Generation & Strategic partnership

  • Analyze and interpret multiple data sources, including market research, surveys, and social media listening, transforming them into valuable information to help deepen the understanding of customer groups - including their pain points and expectations, market and competitive trends, and identifying business opportunities to support decision-making
  • Engage as a thought partner to the US Alzheimer's brand team and other senior stakeholders and translate complex findings into clear and actionable insights that can guide decision-making, support strategy development to improve business outcomes
  • Cultivate relationships with internal stakeholders, understanding the different market realities and adapting insights generation accordingly
  • Provide input to creating reporting and data visualization to communicate insights effectively to relevant stakeholders, including senior leadership
  • Provide input to brand planning process and development of strategic roadmaps to develop a robust go-to-market strategy

Market Research & Competitive Insight

  • Lead US Market research in close collaboration with US Alzheimer's brand team, identifying knowledge gaps to support its design and delivery, collaborating with Global insights colleagues on broader research initiatives.
  • Collaborate with Global Alzheimer's team in the Competitive Insights Process, translating data and information into Insights and sharing them frequently and broadly with the relevant stakeholders
  • Expertise in Demand assessment, ATU, Segmentation, Field Force effectiveness, Behavioral science driven MR techniques and Launch Experience in the US.

Driving Capabilities And Continuous Improvement

  • Liaise with US Alzheimer's brand team and key senior stakeholder members to align on critical business priorities and collaborate with relevant functions in Business Intelligence & Operations and IT to develop capabilities to support Insights generation
  • Stay updated on advancements in analytics tools and methodologies and evaluate and drive implementation of new technologies to improve the insights generation process
  • Foster experience exchange and learning loops through internal community engagement, creating opportunities to nurture and support new ideas and showcase best practices and market trends

You are passionate about market research and customer insights. You enjoy finding the story the data is telling and translating it into digestible insights to drive key decisions. You thrive working cross-functionally across the organization with stakeholders of all levels (including leadership). You demonstrate confidence when facing ambiguity and prioritize decisions that are best for the customer and the team.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required, master's preferred
  • 5+ years of patient / customer research experience within a relevant industry like biotech, pharmaceutical, or a consulting firm supporting the healthcare industry
  • Demonstrated experience in market research (quant/qual, demand studies)
  • Project management experience - managing projects end-to-end (Defining the business need, requesting proposals from vendors, advising on research sample, monitoring fielding, designing read out plans, synthesizing and communicating findings within the organization)
  • Strong communication skills - expertise in translating analyses and research results into actionable insights for business stakeholders across the organization (including senior leadership)
  • Excellent strategic thinking capabilities with ability to synthesize large amounts of information and logically structure PowerPoint deliverables
  • Experience working with a branded, consumer facing product

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in the Alzheimer's Therapeutic Area or adjacent neuropsych customers

Additional Information

The base compensation range for this role is: $142,000.00-$190,000.00

Base salary offered is determined through an analytical approach utilizing a combination of factors including, but not limited to, relevant skills & experience, job location, and internal equity.
