Sr. Director HCP Marketing Neuropsychiatry
About This Role
The Senior Director of HCP Marketing (Neuropsychiatry) will be a critical role and visible leader within the US Neuropsychiatry Franchise, leading, planning and executing sophisticated HCP activation and educational strategies for a product in the midst of launch. Reporting to the VP/Head Neuropsychiatry Marketing, the Senior Director of HCP Marketing will lead the HCP marketing team and matrix in the development and execution of overall U.S. branded and unbranded strategies/plans to educate, activate and support customers treating Postpartum Depression (PPD). Biogen, with their commercialization partner, launched this treatment last year and is currently in a brand growth phase.
What You'll Do
- You will serve as U.S. HCP-lead to develop clear HCP strategy, design creative campaigns, develop messaging and coordinate a customer experience that meets HCP practices/systems where they are, while overcoming barriers to treatment.
- You will lead a team of marketers charged to educate and activate key HCP audiences in for the first indicated oral therapy for postpartum depression (PPD). In this position you will focus on leading a team for both branded and disease education initiatives, collaborating cross-functionally and across channels.

- You will sit on the franchise leadership team to lead design and implementation of the 3 year brand roadmap, with focus on improved education, activation and maturation of the market. By helping define and articulate clear market development and customer experience strategies this leader will also drive solutions that crosscut audiences.
- You will deliver a commercialization plan that proactively grows product adoption and shapes the market. You will consider beyond core marketing including education, scientific exchange and relationship building, evidence generation, and broader engagement with the HCP ecosystem and community to impact delivery of care.
- Collaborate with alliance partner to support the vision and strategy to effectively ensure a 3-year launch growth plan for this important therapy.
- Accountable for comprehensive assessment of competition and identification of opportunities to guide/refine the strategy amidst rapidly changing market dynamics
- You will manage overall HCP media planning and content strategies including management of budgets >$15MM.
Who You Are
You are a high-impact, hands-on leader who enjoys and has experience integrating cross-functional considerations into leading commercial strategic initiatives, team decisions, and work products. You have a deep understanding and proven track record in HCP marketing and launches. You appreciate learning from underdeveloped markets, team members and partners, considering multiple perspectives to inform recommendations and decisions. You have US commercial expertise and bring this point of view to help drive key workstreams and communications.
Qualifications
• BS/BA Required; MBA Preferred
• Seasoned commercial professional, with 12+ years of commercial experience, with 8+ years of marketing or marketing adjacent experience in the pharma or biotech industry, including launch.
• Experience in complex/under-developed therapeutic areas; Women's Health, Neuroscience, Psychiatry or Immunology experience a plus
• Experience in designing and driving omnichannel media campaigns including building media plans, analyzing data and insight to drive key choices and defining a crisp 3-year customer engagement strategy
• Must exhibit strong leadership skills, ability to perform in fast paced environments and ability to influence without authority.
• Strong project and vendor management track record, including resource allocation and fiscal management.
• Experience leading and developing direct and matrixed teams to drive high-impact output
• Ability to travel up to 25%
Preferred Skills
• Experience with a collaboration partner and cross-functional leadership to prioritize strategies to focus and drive success of a new paradigm in a complex market
- Field/customer-facing experience a plus

Additional Information
The base compensation range for this role is: $230,000.00-$316,000.00
Base salary offered is determined through an analytical approach utilizing a combination of factors including, but not limited to, relevant skills & experience, job location, and internal equity.
