Senior Utilities Technician I
About This Role:
As a Senior Utilities Technician I, you will be an integral member of our operations team, ensuring the seamless functionality of our plant's mechanical and electrical systems. Your role will involve operating and repairing these systems, providing troubleshooting expertise, and serving as a system expert for one or more utility systems. You will be responsible for maintaining 24/7 shift operations through SCADA monitoring systems, ensuring all utilities, including Black Utilities, Clean Utilities, and HVAC, are running efficiently. Your technical knowledge will be crucial in creating, updating, and maintaining utilities plans. You will coordinate shift activities, manage quality processes like QRM and CAPA, and be the point of contact for any issues in utility systems during non-production hours. This position is vital to keeping our operations running smoothly, and you will work collaboratively with various departments, including Manufacturing, QC, and Maintenance.
What You'll Do:
- Operate and repair plant mechanical and electrical systems efficiently.
- Troubleshoot and provide expertise on problem utility equipment.
- Ensure 24/7 shift operations, monitoring utilities through SCADA systems.
- Create, update, and maintain utilities plans and technical documentation.
- Coordinate and allocate shift activities according to the operation plan.
- Serve as a point of contact for utility systems issues outside of production hours.
- Manage quality processes, including QRM, Deviations, and CAPA.
- Verify inspection and maintenance work via CMMS.
- Document events and create work instructions and reports as required.
- Conduct tours through mechanical spaces to prevent adverse events.

Who You Are:
You are a dedicated professional with a strong technical background in utilities systems, ideally within the pharmaceutical or chemical industries. Your ability to work autonomously while coordinating interdepartmental activities makes you a valued team player. You are detail-oriented and excel in maintaining quality management processes. Your proactive approach to troubleshooting and problem-solving ensures the seamless operation of our systems. Your clear communication skills and technical expertise make you an effective point of contact in critical situations.
Required Skills:
- High School Diploma with a minimum of 7 years experience in operations of industrial systems, preferably related to Pharmaceutical/Chemicals/Nuclear plants/FMCG.
- Mechanical or technical building training with a certificate of competence recognized by the government or equivalent.
- Minimum English B1 Level proficiency.
- Ability to work in a 5-shift model.
- Proficiency in operating and troubleshooting SCADA systems (DeltaV and Siemens DESIGO BMS).
- Strong documentation skills for creating work instructions and reports.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with quality management processes such as QRM, Deviations, and CAPA.
- Proven ability to coordinate and allocate shift activities efficiently.
- Familiarity with CMMS for verifying inspection and maintenance work.
