Senior Director, HCP Marketing (General Nephrology)

About This Role

The Senior Director of HCP Marketing (General Nephrology) will be a critical role and visible leader within the US Nephrology Franchise, leading, planning and executing sophisticated HCP activation and educational strategies for several upcoming launches. Reporting to the Head US Nephrology Marketing, the Senior Director of HCP Marketing will lead the HCP marketing team the development and execution of U.S. branded and unbranded strategies/plans to educate, activate and support nephrologist in identifying post-transplant patients with Antibody-Mediated Rejection (AMR) and Micro-Vasculature Inflammation (MVI) and ensure appropriate referrals to treatment centers; and lead the development of unbranded and branded efforts for the subsequent expansion into IgA Nephropathy (IgAN)

What You'll Do
• Serve as U.S. HCP-lead to develop clear HCP strategy, design creative campaigns, develop messaging and coordinate a customer experience that meets HCP practices/systems where they are, while overcoming barriers to treatment.
• Lead marketing efforts educate and activate General nephrologists and associated HCPs for the first therapy indicated for AMR and MVI, and subsequent expansion into IgAN. In this position you will focus on leading a team for both branded and disease education initiatives, collaborating cross-functionally and across channels.
• Support the design and implementation of the 3-year brand roadmap, with focus on improved education, activation and maturation of the market. By helping define and articulate clear market development and customer experience strategies this leader will also drive solutions that crosscut audiences.
• Deliver a marketing plan that proactively grows product adoption and shapes the market, going beyond core marketing to include education, scientific exchange and relationship building, evidence generation, and broader engagement with the HCP ecosystem and community to impact delivery of care.
• Collaborate with global partners to support the development of an overall brand identity and positioning, and be a strong US voice shaping the development of early positioning for IgAN
• Collaborate with key partners in Business Intelligence and Operations to drive deep insights on targeted physician audiences
• Be accountable for comprehensive assessment of competition in igAN and identification of opportunities to guide/refine the strategy amidst rapidly changing market dynamics
• Build out a team of marketers to support the preparation and execution of IgAN marketing efforts
• Be a core member of the US Launch Operating Team
• Manage budgets and agency partners to plan

Who You Are
You are a high-impact, hands-on leader who enjoys and has experience integrating cross-functional considerations into leading commercial strategic initiatives, team decisions, and work products. You have a deep understanding and proven track record in HCP marketing and launches, ideally in rare or complex specialty conditions. You have experience with infused/buy & bill products and how that impacts go-to-market and marketing strategies. You appreciate learning from underdeveloped markets, team members and partners, considering multiple perspectives to inform recommendations and decisions. You have US commercial expertise and bring this point of view to help drive key workstreams and communications.

Required Skills
• Bachelor's degree required; MBA or other advance degree preferred
• 12+ years of commercial experience, with 8+ years of marketing or marketing adjacent experience in the pharma or biotech industry, including launch.
• Familiarity and experience with US promotional regulatory guidelines and demonstrated ability to navigate MLR processes
• Experience in complex/under-developed therapeutic areas; Nephrology or Immunology experience highly preferred
• Experience in designing and driving omnichannel media campaigns including building media plans, analyzing data and insight to drive key choices and defining a crisp 3-year customer engagement strategy
• Must exhibit strong leadership skills, ability to perform in fast paced environments and ability to influence without authority.
• Strong project and vendor management track record, including resource allocation and fiscal management.

Additional Information

The base compensation range for this role is: $234,000.00-$322,000.00

Base salary offered is determined through an analytical approach utilizing a combination of factors including, but not limited to, relevant skills & experience, job location, and internal equity.
