Regional Security Lead, APAC

The Regional Security Lead, APAC leads the delivery of security, resilience and risk mitigation programmes across Asia Pacific, supporting the protection of employees, assets, products and operations. The role is responsible for the effective implementation of security strategies, standards and initiatives across manufacturing sites, commercial operations and business functions within the region. Working through a matrix of internal stakeholders and external security service providers, the Regional Security Lead, APAC provides leadership, operational oversight and subject matter expertise to strengthen regional security, preparedness and business continuity capabilities. The role partners with regional and global leaders to identify emerging risks, evaluate complex security and operational challenges, align security priorities with business objectives and support organizational resilience. As the senior regional security leader within APAC, the Regional Security Lead, APAC influences decision-making, coordinates regional security activities and supports the achievement of regional security and business objectives through effective programme delivery and stakeholder engagement.

  • Leads the APAC security programme through a matrix of internal stakeholders and external security providers, translating enterprise security strategies into regional priorities and providing strategic leadership and operational oversight for security systems, operations and risk mitigation activities. Conducts regional security reviews and assessments to identify emerging risks, evaluate complex security challenges, enhance operational resilience and support achievement of enterprise security objectives.
  • Partners with Global and Regional EHS leaders to support the delivery of EHS programmes, standards and initiatives across APAC. Influences the implementation of global EHS requirements and regional improvement projects by integrating security, resilience and risk mitigation considerations into business operations, helping address complex operational risks. Collaborates with EHS stakeholders to promote a safe working environment, strengthen organizational resilience and ensure alignment with enterprise policies and regional business objectives.
  • Acts as the primary regional liaison for the Product and Supply Chain Security (PSCS) function across APAC, championing the implementation of PSCS programmes, standards and strategic initiatives. Partners with business and functional leaders to identify and mitigate product and supply chain risks, supports investigations and audit activities, and promote awareness of PSCS priorities across the region. Influences regional decision-making and stakeholder engagement to strengthen product integrity, supply chain resilience and compliance with enterprise and regulatory requirements.
  • Acts as the regional partner to the Enterprise Risk Management function, supporting business preparedness, crisis management and business continuity activities across APAC. Evaluates emerging risks and operational challenges, providing strategic and operational leadership during incidents and disruptions to support effective response, recovery and continuity of critical operations.
  • Partners with global programme owners to support the delivery of Travel Security, Event Security and Executive Protection programmes across APAC. Provides regional leadership for programme implementation, operational coordination and incident response activities evaluating emerging risks and operational challenges while ensuring alignment with enterprise security standards and business requirements.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
  • Professional certifications in security, risk management, business continuity or crisis management preferred.
  • Requires 7-10+ years of progressive experience in corporate security, risk management or related disciplines.
  • Experience leading regional security operations and delivering security programmes across geographically diverse and complex environments, preferably within a GxP regulated environment.
  • Experience partnering with Product and Supply Chain Security functions to support global product security, supply chain risk management, investigations and security assessments.
  • Strong communications, stakeholder management and influencing skills.
  • Experience supporting management of complex incidents, natural disasters, event preparedness and response.
  • Fluent spoken and written English, as well as relevant local language
