About This Role:
As the Purchasing Manager within the Global Business Services organization, you will be an integral part of the Purchase to Pay workstream. This role is pivotal in overseeing the creation and updating of purchase requisitions, purchase orders, and managing invoice reconciliation. You will lead a team of analysts to ensure efficient processing and adherence to predefined SLAs and KPIs. Your responsibilities will extend to maintaining quality documentation, performing internal controls, and ensuring smooth interfaces with other functions. By collaborating closely with internal audit, compliance, and various business units, you will drive continuous improvement initiatives and strategic projects that bring significant value to the business. This position reports to the PtP Operations Director and plays a crucial role in managing multiple business units, including international categories.

What You'll Do:

  • Oversee and develop Purchasing analyst team members.
  • Monitor, track, triage, and prioritize day-to-day workload for team efficiency.
  • Ensure swift processing of requests in line with quality requirements and SLAs.
  • Update work instructions and process documentation as needed.
  • Act as a key Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Purchasing responsibilities.
  • Review and ensure the quality of the team's work product and conduct quality controls.
  • Conduct ongoing Purchasing training for business stakeholders.
  • Create and submit purchase requisitions/purchase orders in ERP systems.
  • Maintain vendor management documentation to support audit requests.
  • Liaise with finance, business stakeholders, and vendors for reconciliation.
  • Lead activities related to processes, templates, and continuous improvement.
  • Generate reports to manage open POs and monitor key metrics.
  • Coordinate periodic vendor business reviews.
  • Act as the central point of escalation for team issues.

Who You Are:
You are a strategic thinker who thrives in a fast-paced environment, capable of leading and inspiring a team towards achieving streamlined procurement operations. Your attention to detail and problem-solving skills are complemented by your ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders across various levels. You are adaptable, able to manage multiple priorities, and committed to continuous improvement. Your strong interpersonal skills enable you to build robust partnerships and drive collaborative efforts.

Required Skills:

  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • At least 5 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, supply chain, or finance-related role.
  • 3+ years managing direct reports.
  • Experience with ERP systems, such as Oracle.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize workload effectively.
  • Strong interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration.
  • Experience in purchasing and PO management using ERP systems.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in the Pharma/Biotech industry.
  • Familiarity with purchasing and process management software.
  • Experience in software implementations.

The base compensation range for this role is: zł166,000.00-zł228,250.00
