Product Manager, SMA
Job Overview
In this role the incumbent supports the development and execution of global marketing initiatives for a product, indication, customer segment, or disease area. The role translates brand strategy into tactical marketing plans and is responsible for the successful implementation of campaigns, content, congress activities, customer engagement programs, and other commercial initiatives. Working cross-functionally with Medical, Market Access, Analytics, Regulatory, Compliance, and regional market teams, the incumbent ensures marketing activities are aligned with business objectives and customer needs. The role combines strong executional leadership with growing strategic contribution through market insights, campaign optimization, and brand planning support.
Principal Accountabilities
- Develop and execute integrated marketing tactics, campaigns, customer engagement initiatives, and content programs aligned to brand objectives.
- Lead agency partners and cross-functional stakeholders to develop, review, and deploy marketing materials and campaign assets.
- Support brand planning through customer insights, market intelligence, competitive analysis, and performance tracking.
- Manage congress planning, external stakeholder engagement activities, promotional review processes, and asset deployment across markets.
- Manage project budgets, agency spend, statements of work, timelines, KPIs, and campaign performance reporting.
Minimum Education Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree required.
- Degree in Marketing, Business, Life Sciences, Scientific Discipline, or related field preferred.
- MBA, Master's Degree, or equivalent experience preferred.
- Fluent written and spoken English required.
- Additional language capabilities are advantageous.
Minimum Experience Requirements
- 6-9 years of relevant pharmaceutical, biotechnology, healthcare, or commercial experience.
- Prior pharmaceutical marketing experience required.
- Experience leading tactical marketing initiatives and campaign execution.
- Experience managing agencies and external vendors.

- Demonstrated understanding of customer engagement and omnichannel marketing approaches.
- Experience working within Medical, Legal, Regulatory, and Compliance requirements.
- Direct affiliate or in-market commercial experience preferred.
- Ex-US commercial experience strongly preferred.
- Strong project management and stakeholder management capabilities.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in matrix organizations.
