Principal Business Analyst- Commercial IT

About This Role:

As Principal Business Analyst- Commercial IT, you will be an integral part of our Commercial team, partnering closely with stakeholders and IT units to ensure our technology solutions effectively support product launches and ongoing field operations. Your role will involve translating business strategy into actionable requirements and scalable system solutions across CRM, digital asset management, data, and other field enablement platforms. Collaborating with Marketing, Sales Operations, Medical, Regulatory, Market Access, and Data teams, you will drive end-to-end readiness for new product launches and evolving commercial initiatives. By ensuring alignment across systems, integrations, targeting, content enablement, sampling, and reporting, you will minimize risk and enable successful Day-1 launch execution. This role is vital to maintaining operational stability while supporting the growing complexity of our Commercial portfolio.

What You'll Do:

  • Manage and optimize the US Veeva CRM for Specialty and Rare franchises to ensure seamless functionality and alignment with business objectives.
  • Conduct in-depth stakeholder interviews, workshops, and data analysis to elicit and document functional requirements for IT solutions.
  • Identify and manage dependencies to ensure smooth cross-team delivery.
  • Maintain strong relationships with key business stakeholders to capture and act on all updates to field systems.
  • Own and continuously improve critical business processes, partnering with stakeholders and field members.
  • Lead minor project management initiatives
  • Provide ad-hoc business analysis support for unplanned initiatives, driving critical business growth.

Required Skills:

  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in a related field.
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant area or the equivalent combination of experience and education
  • Veeva CRM Platform Expertise (Certification Preferred)
  • Field Operations Exposure, i.e. Direct exposure to Field Operations, including targeting, sampling, call planning, content enablement, or field reporting workflows.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Additional Information

The base compensation range for this role is: $121,000.00-$162,000.00

Base salary offered is determined through an analytical approach utilizing a combination of factors including, but not limited to, relevant skills & experience, job location, and internal equity.
