Job Description

  • Develop National Medical Strategies for Spinal Muscular Atrophy (SMA)
  • Execute Medical activities with good quality based on approved medical strategies
  • Develop medical materials with good quality for external and internal scientific meetings
  • Disseminate high quality complex scientific information and provide innovative medical education content
  • Support the development and implementation of the internal training plan, monitor the plan and update knowledge of disease area
  • Establish, develop, and maintain medical scientific collaborative relationships with top KMEs
  • Generate systematically medical insights and provide key learnings to the regional medical team on regular basis as appropriate
  • Organize national educational meetings with multidisciplinary participation of key stakeholders in designated area and provide key learnings to the Regional Medical team
  • Design and execute CSTs to generate high-quality data, support therapeutic experts in developing concepts and protocols for SRAs / IITs / registries that support SMA therapies.
  • Support appropriate screening processes to identify potential investigators for Biogen initiated clinical trials, collaborate with clinical trial groups to evaluate requests, and assess center capacity for clinical studies.
  • Support regional medical plan and activities
  • Support cross functional strategy and activities
  • 100% in line with Biogen China and global compliance policies

Qualifications

  • Medical or scientific qualification (M.D., Ph.D. or Pharm.D. preferred)
  • At least 2 years medical advisor experience, outstanding Senior MSL candidates may also be considered
  • Experience in neurology and/or rare diseases is preferred
  • National level projects management experience
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, scientific and non-scientific, throughout all levels and geographies of an organization, in English and Chinese
  • Good team player fits in the environment with international, diverse, teamwork culture
  • Strong customer orientation, science based
  • Willingness to travel as required
  • Good English Skill
