About This Role:

As a Medical Affairs Trainee, you will join our dynamic Medical Department, working closely with both the Neurology and Rare Diseases Therapeutic Areas. This internship is a unique opportunity to immerse yourself in the implementation of medical strategy and participate in various activities and events within the department. You will be instrumental in supporting Medical Liaison Managers and collaborating on key projects to enhance our operations. This role provides you with a platform to develop a comprehensive understanding of cross-functional processes and the needs of external stakeholders, while significantly contributing to the success of our medical affairs projects. Your efforts will be pivotal in ensuring our medical strategies are effectively executed, ultimately enhancing our business goals.

What You'll Do:

  • Provide support in managing medical affairs projects alongside Medical Liaison Managers.
  • Participate in the planning and execution of medical meetings and educational projects.
  • Assist in the review of medical materials using Veeva Inscite.
  • Manage ESE documentation and support clinical study management.
  • Engage in medical omnichannel activities to enhance outreach.
  • Gain insight into the operations of the Medical Affairs department and broader affiliate functions.
  • Join Medical Liaison Managers during face-to-face interactions and medical briefings.
  • Support the management of medical information queries.
  • Enhance your scientific knowledge of therapeutic areas and understand medical information processes.

Who You Are:
You are a highly motivated individual with a strong desire to learn and grow within the pharmaceutical industry. You possess excellent communication and presentation skills, and you are fluent in English. Your organizational abilities allow you to manage multiple priorities effectively while maintaining a positive attitude and you are eager to develop a deeper scientific understanding.

Required Skills:

  • Academic Degree in Life Sciences (PhD, PharmD, or MSc degree in other health-related fields).
  • Fluency in Portuguese and English (spoken and written).
  • High communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and a positive attitude.
  • Ability to manage priorities and handle simultaneous requests.

Preferred Skills:

  • Good understanding of Spanish.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a cross-functional team environment.
