Material Review Librarian
About This Role:
As a Material Review Librarian, you will be an integral part of the IMRO Team, strategically managing and operating Biogen's Digital Asset Management (DAM) solution, Veeva Vault. Your expertise in content and digital asset management will be pivotal in maintaining the Biogen International content library, which includes assets and component assets such as InDesign packages, graphic design elements, images, video, digital content, and reference documents. You will collaborate with Project Owners across all functions at the Global, Regional, and Affiliate levels, and with external agencies, providing guidance on material creation, re-use, and localization. Your role is essential in ensuring consistent classification standards and procedures, aligning taxonomy and metadata across company stakeholders, and supporting the onboarding and training of Agencies and Project Owners. By analyzing the content library and process execution, you will suggest improvements to enhance efficiency, playing a vital role in driving the business forward.
What You'll Do:
- Manage and operate Biogen's DAM solution, Veeva Vault, housing complete and component assets.
- Partner with Project Owners and external agencies to plan future material creation and localization guidance.
- Collaborate closely with Review Coordinators and Veeva Vault users to support material creation and localization.
- Maintain, monitor quality, and update assets in Veeva Vault regularly.
- Guide processes related to creation, updates, re-use, and localization of materials.
- Establish process standards and oversee governance across Biogen's International Organizational businesses.
- Support alignment of taxonomy and metadata across company stakeholders and provide training support.
- Analyze content library and process execution, providing updates to the Commercial and Medical Operations team.
- Manage the reference library, ensuring documents are appropriately categorized and available for linking.
- Support onboarding and training of Agencies and Project Owners in asset creation and localization processes.
- Ensure compliance with regional and local affiliate regulations affecting material review processes.
- Manage components library by uploading, classifying, and capturing usage rights without duplication.

Required Skills:
- Bachelor's degree or internationally recognized qualification related to service area.
- Proficient in English; additional languages are an advantage.
- At least 2 years of experience in handling content management processes for a multinational pharmaceutical company and/or creative agency.
- Experience using electronic tools such as Veeva Vault or other DAM for content management.
- Demonstrated familiarity with metadata standards, communication standards, and classifying systems.
- Broad knowledge of library tools, systems, and resources in corporate organizations.
- Strong computer aptitude and ability to learn systems quickly.
- Strong capability in juggling multiple projects and priorities to meet deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Project Management experience and ability to work in cross-functional teams.
- Shared Services/Global Business Services experience in delivering relevant services to an international client base (either external or internal).

Preferred Skills:
- Previous experience in the Pharma industry is an advantage but not required.

Additional information:
- This role is in hybrid model of work.
- Please note that this role requires a candidate to be a holder of work permit & residency in Poland.
- The base compensation range per year for this role is 84 000-113 500 PLN gross
