Manager New Product Planning- Patient Services

This role is focused on the creation and implementation of the go-to-market-strategies for New Products in Biogen's pipeline within Patient Services. This role would coordinate all implementation efforts within Patient Services. This would include managing the Patient Services Working Teams focusing on project management, managing communication, and providing knowledge expertise to facilitate successful launches. Post -launch, this role will help with the day-to-day issues that may arise on process, training, or systems. This role will own specific patient program development which includes design, development, approvals, and implementation planning.

This role reports to the Director of the New Product Planning Team and would have regular interactions with all groups within Patient Services especially the Program Leads/Sr Program Leads/Managers from the Process Improvement, Digital, Vendor Management, Pharmacy Operations, Compliance, Operations, Training, and Business Insights Planning teams. Outside of Patient Services, this role would collaborate with the Manager/Associate Director representatives of Marketing, Managed Access and Reimbursement, IT, Field Force, Commercial Learning, Legal, and Compliance teams.

Principal Accountabilities

1) Facilitating Patient Services' work related to New Products (Pipeline) including facilitating the Patient Services Working Team as well as project plans, scorecards, workflows, business rules/requirements, and vendor management of consultants among other launch requirements

2) Partner with Brand Teams, IT, Managed Access and Reimbursement, and other US Therapy Operations' Teams to create and launch a subset of the patient programs and operating model supporting new products

3) Represent Patient Services on Core Launch Committee Sub Teams by bringing the Patient Services viewpoint to key discussions, assisting in decision making, and partnering with key proposal creation

4) Manage Patient Services launch communication strategies and go live plans including facilitating internal advisory boards for all launch products to gain expertise from PS teams. Preparing high-quality executive materials and ensuring timely execution of deliverables.

5) This role will require "leading without authority" as there are no direct reports but will need to lead teams to complete deliverables and meet milestones. This is a high-visibility role requiring strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills with the ability to work in a fast-moving, highly matrixed environment

Qualifications

  • 5-7 years working in a commercial or services organization
  • Experience with project management, resourcing strategy, program planning, strategic thinking, and organizational communication
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Strong analytical, problem solving, strategic thinking skills and business acumen

The base compensation range for this role is: $104,000.00-$139,000.00

Base salary offered is determined through an analytical approach utilizing a combination of factors including, but not limited to, relevant skills & experience, job location, and internal equity.
