Global Commercialization Lead FA
As the Global Commercialization Lead, Friedreich's ataxia, you will be responsible for delivering the Disease Area Strategic Plan (DASP), working closely with regions to execute and evolve the global commercialization strategy, as we aim to launch in >50 markets globally. You will report to the Product Development and Commercialization Lead (PDC), Friedreich's ataxia, and will be a critical member of the global PDC team.
As SKYCLARYS expands into new geographies, you will be accountable for leading the cross-functional global brand strategy across marketing, Value & Access, medical, insights, forecasting, and advocacy and how it can best support the program's continued growth. You will be a key strategic contributor to an integrated cross-functional team to develop and execute the disease area strategy, along with strategic priorities and assessing new business opportunities to enable sustainable market growth for the program.

What You'll Do
- Lead the commercialization/3M functions (Marketing, Medical & Market Access) to deliver and execute on the Integrated Evidence Generation Plan (IEGP) that enables continued global launch uptake
- Ensure key customer & patient insights from launch markets are infused into the DASP, ensuring investments that support launch uptake & brand growth
- Accelerate the global launch of SKYCLARYS by ensuring the key strategic growth levers are pulled through e.g., patient finding, geographic expansion & retention
- Lead the commercialization functions and partner with regions to develop, execute & evolve the Global Brand Positioning, ensuring translation into commercial initiatives
- Coordinate with PDC Lead to ensure maximization of the value of the asset
- Accountable for comprehensive Assessment of Competition and identification of opportunities to guide/refine the global strategy amidst rapidly changing dynamics
- Collaborate with Global Finance and Insights to refine Forecasts, assess business opportunities, and guide resource allocation decisions
- Partner with regional and affiliate colleagues to support the vision and strategy to effectively ensure launch and Patient Access e.g., via innovative access mechanisms
- Facilitate Performance Reporting discussions with executive leadership via quarterly dashboard process & best practice sharing, in partnership with Regions

You are a strategic and entrepreneurial leader, high-impact, hands-on leader who enjoys and has experience integrating cross-functional considerations into leading commercialization strategic initiatives, team decisions, and work products. You appreciate learning from team members and other company partners and hearing multiple perspectives to inform recommendations and decisions. You have strong rare disease launch expertise, a deep understanding of how to partner cross-functionally, and bring this point-of-view to help drive key workstreams and communications. You are passionate about making a positive impact on the Rare Disease Community.
Qualifications
Required Skills
- Bachelor's Degree & Advanced Degree Required;
- 15+ years of experience in the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry
- Rare Disease commercial launch experience
- Experience collaborating across 3M functions, and with Regions/Key Markets including development of IEGPs and other Data Gen initiatives
- Strong analytical and leadership skills, including creative, strategic mindset
- Outstanding relationship building and communication skills, including ability to navigate throughout a matrixed organization with individuals at all levels
- Anticipated travel: up to 15% international
Preferred Skills:
- Global Rare Disease commercial launch experience
- Experience as a member of a Global cross-functional asset team

The base compensation range for this role is: -
Base salary offered is determined through an analytical approach utilizing a combination of factors including, but not limited to, relevant skills & experience, job location, and internal equity.
