About This Role:

As the Global Commercialization Marketing Director for Cutaneous Lupus Erythematosus (CLE), you will be responsible for shaping the future of Biogen's Lupus portfolio, ensuring the successful launch of the portfolio's first product. Embedded within the Global Commercial Team, you will drive the development and implementation of cohesive marketing strategies across key geographies. Your efforts will directly inform and align with cross-functional partners, ensuring consistent brand messaging and execution globally. You will be instrumental in crafting and executing market-shaping strategies, working closely with the Global Commercialization Lead to optimize our market presence. This role is key to ensuring organizational readiness, supporting product launch, and ultimately driving our strategic goals within the business structure.

What You'll Do:

  • Partner closely with the Global Commercialization Lead to develop and implement market shaping strategies across all customers and regions.
  • Lead the execution of tactical marketing plans, ensuring an omni-channel approach for launch success.
  • Manage agency partnerships to develop tactical assets and programs.
  • Develop messaging hierarchy, creative guidelines, and both unbranded and branded style guides.
  • Support the development of Go-To-Market strategies, including positioning, messaging, and tactical planning.
  • Prepare for product launch through Launch Readiness Reviews in collaboration with commercial operations.
  • Conduct global SWOT analyses and identify potential risks associated with product launch.
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive launch plan ensuring organizational readiness.
  • Collaborate with global and regional insights teams to ensure message resonance with customers.
  • Engage with global and regional medical affairs teams to develop HCP Leader lists and engagement plans.
  • Partner with regional teams to develop CRM databases supporting omni-channel customer engagement.
  • Collaborate with Medical Affairs, Patient Advocacy, and Corporate Communications to align marketing strategy with the Global Scientific Platform.

Who You Are:

You are a highly collaborative leader who has experience engaging with customers including key medical experts, prescribers, patient advocacy organizations, public policy makers, and investors to integrate these perspectives into product commercialization strategy. You have strong leadership, planning and organization, analytics, decision making and problem-solving skills. #LI-CC1

Required Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree required; Advanced Degree preferred
  • 10+ years of experience in the biopharmaceutical industry with in-depth marketing and promotional knowledge, this includes 3+ years of experience in commercializing Lupus and/or Dermatology/Rheumatology products.
  • Ability to leverage insights and develop aligned product strategies.
  • Proficiency in analytical tools (Excel), promotional tools (VEEVA, PowerPoint), and new technologies.
  • Excellent analytical, financial acumen, and project management skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, including diplomacy and strategic influence capabilities.
  • Anticipate travel up to 20% internationally.

Additional Information

The base compensation range for this role is: $199,000.00-$274,000.00

Base salary offered is determined through an analytical approach utilizing a combination of factors including, but not limited to, relevant skills & experience, job location, and internal equity.

Regular employees are eligible to receive both short term and long-term incentives, including cash bonus and equity incentive opportunities, designed to reward recent achievements and recognize your future potential based on individual, business unit and company performance.
