Customer and Market Insights Lead
About This Role:
This role will lead CMI (Customer & Marketing Insights) within Rare Disease for International Markets and Internation Center of Excellence (ICoE). In the role you act as a Business Partner to key senior stakeholders ensuring business decision are informed by customer and market insights. Within this lies responsibility for business forecasting with the Regional business areas, as well as generating deep product and market development understanding through customer journey insights, competitor insights, and other sources of relevant insights. This role will require close collaboration with key stakeholders including iCoE team members and prioritized markets, presented in a compelling a meaningful way for the business to consume. Drive innovation by bringing all relevant data sources together using innovative solutions for making a clear understanding of the link between business execution efforts and successful business outcomes.
What You'll Do:
- Deliver and support all Customer and Market Insights (CMI) requirements relevant to the assigned portfolio.
- Collaborate deeply with iCoE and market stakeholders to prioritize CMI delivery across the portfolio.
- Develop and communicate a prioritized CMI plan, allocating resources efficiently.
- Execute and present insights in a actionable way for facilitating business decisions or action for senior stakeholders.
- Deliver scenario planning and business forecasting for Regional Business Areas
- Support the Global Insights Generation and Forecasting team in developing long term strategic forecasting
- Provide thought partnership to align and execute CMI requirements across the Biogen portfolio.
- Lead collaboration between Global and local CE&O organizations to enhance CMI and forecasting capabilities.
- Drive innovation by engaging with external capabilities and emerging market trends.
- Partner with Global CE&O leadership to improve and innovate the how insights are embedded into customer engagements.
- Apply continuous improvement mindset across the Global CE&O organization.

Required Skills:
- Mater degree in Science, Business or similar is required.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry.
- Significant experience working across the business at senior level in Customer and Market Insights, modelling, and forecasting.
- Proven track record of driving change management and leading people.
- Advanced analytical and strategic skills.
- Participation in defining and implementing global strategy.
- Fluent in English; additional languages beneficial.
Preferred Skills:
- Innovative thinking and a dynamic approach to problem-solving.
- Experience in a highly competitive marketplace.
- Rare disease experience
