About the Role:

This application is for a 6-month student role from January - June 2026. Resume review begins in October 2025.

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented student to join Biogen's Global Field Medical Training and Excellence Team. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the design, facilitation, and optimization of training programs that prepare Field Medical Teams for field deployment. You'll work closely with the Global Field Medical Training & Excellence team, the Global Medical Directors Office, and regional medical teams to support the creation of strategic learning journeys and modular training experiences.

What You'll Do:

  • Support the development of medical training content that aligns with clinical and operational program goals.
  • Help create engaging training materials such as interactive modules, slide decks, case-based scenarios, and workshops.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Clinical Development, Medical Affairs, and Field Medical to ensure content accuracy and relevance.
  • Assist in integrating training materials into digital platforms and contribute to tracking performance and feedback.
  • Participate in needs assessments to understand training gaps and opportunities.
  • Learn how to incorporate professional skills into medical training aligned with Field Medical competencies.
  • Contribute to the digital build and deployment of training assets.
  • Join stakeholder interviews and feedback sessions to gather insights and improve training effectiveness.
  • Document processes and help build a scalable training framework for future use.
  • Assist in the coordination and delivery of training programs and workshops related to field medical skills initiatives.

Who You Are:

You are intrigued by the pharmaceutical/biotech industry and medical affairs. Your background in life sciences or medical/scientific communications equips you with a solid foundation. You possess strong organizational and time-management skills, coupled with solid communication abilities, both written and verbal.

  • Experience with digital tools e.g. Powerpoint, Adobe (Learning Management Systems (LMS) platforms is a plus).
  • Proactive, adaptable, and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment.

To participate in the Biogen Internship or Co-op Program, students must meet the following eligibility criteria:

  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S.
  • At least 18 years of age prior to the scheduled start date.
  • Currently enrolled in an accredited community college, college, university or skills program/apprenticeship.

Education Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in a Master's or PhD program in life sciences, pharmacy, public health, health administration, or related field.

Additional Information

The base compensation range for this role is: $29.00-$33.00

The actual hourly wage offered will consider the candidate's current academic level and degree candidacy, inclusive of Associate, Bachelor's, Master's, JD, MD, PhD and MBA programs. It will comply with state or local minimum wage requirements specific to the job location.
