About This Role:

The Associate Director, Global Insights will partner with the Global Insights Leads for Nephrology in delivering high-quality insights and forecasting to inform strategic and operational decisions across the nephrology portfolio. Operating with a high degree of independence, this role owns major components of the insight's agenda and acts as a strategic thought partner to the business.

This role will focus on generating actionable insights from multiple data sources, supporting market research, competitive intelligence, and forecasting activities. Beyond execution, the Associate Director is accountable for proactively shaping insight approaches that influence brand, portfolio, and lifecycle strategy. The individual will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and global/local stakeholders to ensure insights are effectively translated into business strategies. The position requires strong analytical skills, strategic thinking, and the ability to synthesize complex data into clear recommendations for senior and executive audiences.

What You'll Do:

  • Analyze and interpret diverse data sources, transforming them into valuable insights to understand customer groups, market trends, and business opportunities with clear implications for strategy and execution.


  • Utilize advanced statistical methods and predictive modeling to enhance insights depth and accuracy and to proactively answer future-oriented business questions.


  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of the business, customer groups, and competitive landscape across the portfolio and key markets.


  • Foster relationships with internal stakeholders, adapting insights generation to different market realities and influencing decision-making through consultative partnership.


  • Align metrics and tracking for brand initiatives to ensure effective insights gathering.


  • Oversee the competitive insights process and share findings with relevant stakeholders.


  • Lead Market research in close collaboration with Global Insights leads, identifying knowledge gaps to support its design and delivery with increasing accountability for study framing, prioritization, and interpretation.


  • Drive competitive intelligence monitoring, translating data and information into Insights and sharing them as needed with stakeholders in a clear, actionable, and forward-looking manner.


  • Drive Customer and Patient Insights generation through Market Research, Social Listening, digitally generated data, and other internal and external sources of information and integrate these perspectives into cohesive insight narratives.


  • Contribute to forecasting model development to support strategic decisions, and support alignment with global and regional forecasting process as needed with growing ownership over assumptions, scenarios, and strategic implications.


  • Independently frame insight-based recommendations and communicate them effectively to senior stakeholders to support critical business decisions.

Required Skills:

  • BA/BS required, advanced degree preferred


  • 7+ years of insights‑related experience in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or life sciences consulting industry.


  • 2+ years of experience working in immunology related indications


  • Strong background in market research, competitive intelligence, and proven ability to synthesize complex data into actionable insights


  • Solid experience in Market Research planning, delivery, and end-to-end operation, including a deep understanding of legal and compliance requirements


  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional and global teams and influencing without direct authority


  • Excellent communication and presentation skills


  • Up to 10% travel international and domestic travel

Additional Information

The base compensation range for this role is: $162,000.00-$223,000.00

Base salary offered is determined through an analytical approach utilizing a combination of factors including, but not limited to, relevant skills & experience, job location, and internal equity.
