Project Overview:
Fab 62 is an advanced semiconductor fabrication facility for Intel Corporation, located at Intel's Ocotillo campus in Chandler, Arizona. As part of this work, the M&T team is responsible for delivering the engineering, procurement, and construction scope required to complete and finish-out a leading-edge chipmaking facility - a highly demanding environment where precision, cleanliness, schedule certainty, and coordination across thousands of craft and professional personnel are essential to success. The project supports the continued expansion of domestic semiconductor manufacturing capacity, contributing to a more resilient technology supply chain while creating significant opportunity for the local Arizona workforce. Joining the Fab 62 team means contributing directly to one of the most strategically important construction efforts in the United States and helping deliver the infrastructure behind the next generation of microelectronics.
Job Summary:
Assigned to the Construction organization to lead the Workface Planning (WFP) program across the project. Responsible for coordinating constraint removal, aligning engineering, procurement, and construction inputs, and ensuring Installation Work Packages (IWPs) are planned and released in accordance with the field execution strategy. Drives communication across EPC functions and ensures accurate representation of construction plans within project systems to support efficient, predictable field execution. #LI-CL1

• Leads implementation and execution of the Workface Planning (WFP) program across the project.
• Ensures accurate input to 90-day and 3-week lookahead schedules by Installation Work Package (IWP).
• Ensures constraint-free IWPs are available to support field execution.
• Tracks readiness and identifies constraints at 150-day, 90-day, and 3-week intervals and drives resolution across functions.
• Validates sequencing of IWPs to ensure alignment with construction execution strategy.
• Establishes metrics and dashboards to monitor WFP performance and construction productivity.
• Ensures current design documents are used and all design changes are approved prior to execution.
• Coordinates with engineering, procurement, and construction teams to prioritize deliverables and maintain alignment with field needs.
• Leads and mentors Workface Planners on Advanced Work Packaging (AWP) concepts and execution.
• Maintains IWP data within project systems and ensures updates reflect current design status.
• Identifies gaps in planning and proactively drives cross-functional solutions.
• Provides strategic input to site leadership to improve execution efficiency and predictability.
Education and Experience Requirements:
- Requires bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) and 10-13 years of relevant experience or 14-17 years of relevant work experience in lieu of degree.
Required Knowledge and Skills:
• Strong understanding of Workface Planning (WFP), Advanced Work Packaging (AWP), and Installation Work Packages (IWPs).
• Knowledge of construction planning, sequencing, and productivity improvement practices.
• Experience coordinating across engineering, procurement, and construction functions.
• Ability to analyze project data and communicate execution strategies and priorities clearly.
• Familiarity with Bechtel Standard Application Programs (BSAP) and digital tools supporting construction execution.
• Ability to identify constraints, develop solutions, and drive cross-functional alignment.
• Strong communication and leadership skills to influence teams and drive execution results.
• Understanding of construction processes, performance metrics, and continuous improvement methodologies.
