Job Summary:
In this role, you will provide technical leadership, coaching, and oversight to project ESH teams across a portfolio of manufacturing and technology projects. You will help strengthen ESH management systems, improve program consistency, support risk-based execution, and partner with project leadership to address significant concerns. This role offers the opportunity to influence ESH performance at both the project and portfolio level while supporting high-impact work in fast-paced environments. #LI-AE2

Major Responsibilities:
- Shape strong project starts by providing ESH input to proposals, execution planning, risk assessments, resourcing strategies, and readiness activities.
- Strengthen project ESH performance by coaching teams on ESH management plans, execution plans, permit-to-work systems, contractor management, and related specialty programs.
- Drive consistent, high-quality ESH execution by overseeing program implementation and continuous improvement in alignment with applicable regulations and recognized management system requirements.
- Improve program effectiveness by leading assessments, readiness reviews, audits, and conformance checks, and by helping teams close findings in a timely manner.
- Embed ESH into project delivery by partnering with engineering, construction, supply chain, subcontracts, commissioning, and project controls teams.
- Advance portfolio learning and consistency by facilitating program kickoffs, risk workshops, constructability reviews, management system reviews, and knowledge-sharing forums.
- Support informed decision-making by preparing and reviewing ESH documentation, compliance reports, risk registers, objectives, and regulatory submittals.
- Build alignment across stakeholders by working with project leadership, customers, regulators, auditors, and internal partners to address issues and coordinate support.
- Enhance visibility and execution performance by supporting ESH digitization initiatives and practical tools and systems.
- Intervene on critical ESH concerns, including recommending or exercising stop-work authority, when conditions present unacceptable risk to people, the environment, or communities.
Education and Experience Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety and Health, Environmental Science, Industrial Hygiene, Engineering, or a related field, with 14+ years of experience delivering ESH results in complex project environments.
- Master's degree in a related field with 12+ years of experience advancing ESH performance in complex project settings.
- At least 5 years of experience supporting semiconductor, pharmaceutical/biotech, or hyperscale data center projects, with demonstrated impact on ESH performance.
- Experience leading or advising ESH performance across multiple projects and influencing teams in a matrixed or functional environment.
- Strong knowledge of ESH regulations, industry standards, and management systems, including ISO 14001 and ISO 45001, with the ability to apply requirements in project execution.
- Experience strengthening risk-based ESH programs through incident investigation, corrective action management, and continuous improvement.
- Ability to manage competing priorities, communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders, and support teams in fast-paced project environments.
- Familiarity with contractor management, compliance reviews, and contract requirements that support strong ESH outcomes.
- Valid driver's license required.
Required Knowledge and Skills:
- Professional certification such as ASP, OHST, CSP, or CIH.
- Working knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and key environmental regulations, with the ability to support practical compliance.
- Strong understanding of construction safety hazards, permit-to-work systems, JHAs, lockout/tagout, and critical control verification.
- Knowledge of industrial hygiene principles and chemical hazard management.
- Familiarity with cleanroom environments and hazardous chemical processes in advanced manufacturing
