Job Summary:
The ESH Program Wellness Coordinator is responsible for leading the coordination and implementation of the Project Mental Health Program and other wellness-related Environmental, Safety, and Health (ESH) initiatives. This includes oversight of mental health events, campaigns, and supporting programs such as the Muscular Injury Prevention Program (MSIPP), seasonal initiatives, and data-driven health campaigns. This position plays a key role in fostering a culture of wellbeing across the project site. This position reports to the ESH Services Manager or Project ESH Manager.#LI-AE2
Major Responsibilities:
- Facilitate the Project Mental Health Committee and serve as the primary point of contact for wellness related initiatives
- Coordinate with the on-site medical provider on mental health-related materials, workshops, and resources
- Develop and maintain a branded/visual identity for the Mental Health Program
- Plan and manage mental health awareness events aligned with national and international campaigns (e.g., Mental Health Week, World Mental Health Day)
- Organize Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) training and maintain training records per project and national guidelines
- Support implementation of other ESH programs (e.g., MSIPP) in line with the Project ESH Execution Plan
- Collaborate with other functional teams on cross-disciplinary campaigns
- Perform other duties as assigned by the ESH Manager or ESH Services Manager
Education and Experience Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in public health, Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, Occupational Health, or a related field with 4 years of experience; Or a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience in mental health/social program development and delivery for diverse adult populations
Required Knowledge and Skills:
- Familiarity with the Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) program is required; current MHFA certification or instructor certification is preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to lead initiatives and manage cross-functional programs.
- Experience with visual branding, marketing, and health awareness campaign execution.
- Public speaking experience; capable of delivering presentations and leading training sessions.
- Experience working in construction or industrial project environments.
- Valid driver's license.
Additional Skills
- Bilingual in English/Spanish is a plus
- Strong communication skills and the ability to engage effectively with individuals and large groups
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
