Job Description
Job Responsibilities:
Receive, unload, and inspect incoming materials and products, verifying quantities against purchase orders and identifying any discrepancies or damages.
Accurately store materials in designated warehouse locations, ensuring proper labeling, organization, and accessibility.
Pick and pack outgoing orders according to specifications, preparing them for shipment and ensuring accuracy.
Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks safely and efficiently (with proper certification, if required).
Maintain accurate inventory records through manual and/or computerized systems.
Perform regular cycle counts and assist with physical inventory as needed.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment, adhering to all company safety policies and procedures.
Assist with loading and unloading trucks as required.
Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and other departments to ensure smooth operations.
Perform other duties as assigned to support warehouse operations.
Job Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Minimum of 1 year of experience in a warehouse or distribution environment preferred.
Ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) repeatedly throughout the shift.
Proficiency in basic math and reading skills.
Experience with inventory management systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) is a plus.
Forklift certification or ability to obtain certification within a specified timeframe preferred.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to stand, walk, bend, and stoop for extended periods.
