About the role
Your primary responsibility would be to analyze and interpret tenders and develop market-specific responses for EMEA markets highlighting BD's strengths and unique selling proposition. The tasks would range from filling tender specifications, supporting SME's and reviewing answers, supporting sales team in bidding strategy and submitting the tender on the appropriate tender portal in a sensitive time bound environment. The goal would be for you to develop an experienced product knowledge eventually that allows you to act as a trusted advisor for the EMEA Sales Organization.
Responsibilities:
- Support the sales team with pre-tender and tender bidding strategies
- Full project management for tenders
- Report and analyze tender outcomes, create and share lessons learned to drive future improvement
- Act as a strategic partner to business stakeholders engaging with them in strategic and commercial dialogues concerning the tender
- Keep track of the developments in the local tender legislations to ensure the correct procedure is followed and tender submissions are in line with the legal requirements and BD conditions of sales
- Support the maintenance of Tender Repository tools to increase efficiency and accuracy in the Tender Management Process
- Efficient support of analysis and continuous optimization of tender processes and tools
- Strong collaboration with regional teams and proactive Development of processes for new markets in preparation for tenders
- Support the decision-making process during the tender process and ensure BD's commitments are transparent to Implementation and Support Teams to guarantee revenue recognition or payment
Preferred Requirements
You have a bachelor's degree preferably with a focus on marketing, economics, healthcare or law (advanced degree preferred) and 4-6 years of similar experience or in International Business. You have an active and professional behavior as well as strong social skills.

- Excellent project management skills
- Very good knowledge of MS-Office products
- Excellent influencing skills
- Knowledge of local tender legislation & practices, contracts and quote processes
- Prior experience in tender management is advantageous
- BD solutions/product knowledge is advantageous
- Commercial feeling is a must, commercial background is a plus
- Soft skills such as analytical thinking with attention to detail, well organized, outspoken, and collaborative with an ability to work under time pressure and handle multiple tasks simulataneously
- High level of independence, resilience and assertiveness
- Very good English language skills additional language skills such as French, Dutch or Spanish are advantegous
