Job Description
Job Summary:
The Technical OperatorforSterilizationis responsible foroperatingand maintaining sterilization equipment and systems to ensure the safe and effective sterilization of medical devices,equipment to beusea PC interpretation for HMI.
Responsibilities:
- Operate sterilization equipment (PC, HMI) according to validated procedures.
- Track all the products around conveyor systems, and Sterilization Room, to unjam boxes or trays.
- Loadproductsintoconveyorsandmanipulatethe interface of theHMI.
- Unwrap material prior tosterilizationcycle.
- Load/unload productmanually oncethe manual line is running.
- Monitor and document sterilization cycles, parameters, and outcomes.
- Perform routine equipment checks, cleaning, and minor maintenance.
- Maintain accuraterecords of sterilization batches and logs.
- Collaborate with Quality Assurance and Maintenance teams to resolve issues.
- Identifyand report deviations or equipment malfunctions promptly.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives in sterilization processes.
- Maintain clean working area.
- Follow all safety guidelines and wearappropriate PPE.
- Other duties as required to support the needs of the business.
Knowledge and Skills:
- Has basic skills training in an analytical/scientific method or operational process.
- Ability to read, write,interpretandcomprehenddocuments,and perform basic math calculations.
- Ability to perform/operatein ametrics-driven environment.
- General computer skills.
- Works independently with minimal guidance.
- Effective communication skills at a levelco-worker.
- Minimal required supervision.
- Set priorities among multiple tasks.
