Job Description

Job Summary:

The Technical OperatorforSterilizationis responsible foroperatingand maintaining sterilization equipment and systems to ensure the safe and effective sterilization of medical devices,equipment to beusea PC interpretation for HMI.

Responsibilities:

• Operate sterilization equipment (PC, HMI) according to validated procedures.
• Track all the products around conveyor systems, and Sterilization Room, to unjam boxes or trays.
• Loadproductsintoconveyorsandmanipulatethe interface of theHMI.
• Unwrap material prior tosterilizationcycle.
• Load/unload productmanually oncethe manual line is running.
• Monitor and document sterilization cycles, parameters, and outcomes.
• Perform routine equipment checks, cleaning, and minor maintenance.
• Maintain accuraterecords of sterilization batches and logs.
• Collaborate with Quality Assurance and Maintenance teams to resolve issues.
• Identifyand report deviations or equipment malfunctions promptly.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives in sterilization processes.
• Maintain clean working area.
• Follow all safety guidelines and wearappropriate PPE.
• Other duties as required to support the needs of the business.

Knowledge and Skills:

• Has basic skills training in an analytical/scientific method or operational process.
• Ability to read, write,interpretandcomprehenddocuments,and perform basic math calculations.
• Ability to perform/operatein ametrics-driven environment.
• General computer skills.
• Works independently with minimal guidance.
• Effective communication skills at a levelco-worker.
• Minimal required supervision.
• Set priorities among multiple tasks.
