Job Title: (Senior) Sales Manager, CM(Clinical Microbiology)*
ADx team's hospital segment
Location: Seoul, Korea
Reports to: Business Director, IDS Korea
Direct Reports: Direct sales team sales leads, CM hospital team
Role Summary:
We are seeking a strategic and execution-focused Senior Sales Manager to lead the ADx Korea Clinical Microbiology hospital sales team. This role will be responsible for driving sales execution, developing growth strategies by account and segment, improving funnel visibility, strengthening SFDC adoption, ensuring accurate monthly forecasting, and helping stabilize the sales organization during the transition to Waters. The successful candidate will bring strong commercial leadership, disciplined operating cadence, data-driven decision-making, and the ability to coach sales teams and distributors to deliver sustainable TMS and IMS growth while maintaining team engagement and business continuity.
Key Responsibilities:
🧭 Strategic Sales Leadership
- Develop and execute account- and segment-level growth strategies to achieve To-Market Sales (TMS) and In-Market Sales (IMS) targets.
- Own monthly forecast accuracy by establishing a disciplined review process that connects funnel health, account-level opportunities, distributor inventory, and expected sales conversion.
- Lead and coach the direct sales team responsible for the hospital segment, ensuring strong execution, clear priorities, and consistent customer engagement.
- Help stabilize the sales team during the transition to Waters by maintaining clear communication, reinforcing priorities, supporting team morale, and minimizing disruption to customer engagement and sales execution.
- Drive field execution by enabling account managers to focus on opportunity creation, solution selling, stakeholder management, and timely deal closure.
- Manage distributor performance, coverage, and inventory to ensure sustainable growth, healthy stock rotation, and alignment with sell-out priorities.

- Partner with Commercial Excellence to champion funnel management, SFDC discipline, Power BI-based business reviews, and data-driven sales coaching.
- Establish a structured operating cadence for funnel reviews, forecast calls, performance tracking, and corrective actions to address gaps and capture growth opportunities.
🤝 Customer & Market Engagement
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs).
- Leverage customer insights, market trends, reimbursement changes, and competitive intelligence to identify growth opportunities and translate them into actionable sales plans.
- Collaborate with marketing, clinical, and regulatory teams to support product positioning and market access.
📈 Governance & Reporting
- Provide transparent sales forecasts, pipeline visibility, growth risk/opportunity assessment, and performance reporting to senior leadership on a monthly basis.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant healthcare regulations and internal policies.
- Stay current with market dynamics, competitor activities, and regulatory changes in the diagnostics and medical device space.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Biomedical Engineering, Business, or a related field;
- Minimum 12 years of experience in sales, with at least 5 years in a leadership role within the medical device or diagnostic solutions industry.
- Proven track record in sales execution, growth strategy development, funnel management, forecast discipline, and team leadership.
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams through organizational transition or change, maintaining engagement, accountability, and execution continuity.
- Deep understanding of the Korean healthcare system and medical device regulatory environment.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills in both English and Korean.
- Experience working in a multinational or matrixed organization is a plus.
