Job Description

Functions and Responsibilities :

  • Provide leadership and direction to all disciplines involved to ensure supplier change requests related to
    materials, processes, and product design for packaging related changes.
  • Proven ability to develop cost-effective, compliant, and robust packaging solutions that protect product integrity and meet regulatory standards.
  • Lead packaging validation activities including sealing, aging, and transportation studies.
  • Lead packaging change control projects, research initiatives, and continuous improvement opportunities.
  • Troubleshoot packaging-related issues, including sealing, labeling, and material performance, providing

direct technical support to all packaging initiatives.
  • Manage engineering documentation including supplier IQ/OQ/PQ, SPO runs, specification updates, BOM
    changes, and process modifications.
  • Skilled in collaborating cross-functionally with R&D, Quality, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Regulatory
    teams to ensure packaging systems meet performance, sterility, and distribution requirements.
  • Support technology transfer activities in collaboration with R&D, Manufacturing, and Quality departments.
  • Lead internal and external meetings, document discussions, and follow up on open actions related to
    Packaging related and SIB projects.
  • Maintain the Reynosa Impacted Supplier Change Request (SCR) database in the BD portal.
  • Provide daily/weekly project updates to stakeholders and escalate supply-related risks to upper
    management.
  • Travel occasionally to the U.S. to support project progress and completion.

  • Requirements :

    • Bachelor's degree in engineering field or equivalent
    • 5 years of experience in packaging and manufacturing or equivalent as minimum.
    • Certified Packaging Professional (CPP - IoPP) - Optional
    • Strong knowledge of packaging validation, sterilization.
    • ISO 11607 (Medical Packaging) Knowledgement
    • Good communication skills.
    • Dynamic, positive attitude with good interpersonal and organizational skills,
      proficient, ability to work under pressure, ability to solve problems, responsible, high
      initiative, strong leadership.
    • Able to communicate both verbally and writing in English
