The Senior Manager, Strategy and Operations- Sales Operations & Effectivenessplays a critical role at the center of this transformation.This role functions as asenior strategic operator and internal advisortoSO&E leadership-bridging strategyand hands-on execution. The position blends elements ofmanagement consulting, chief-of-staff, lean management system, and enterprise operations leadership, with direct exposure to senior commercial leaders and accountability forreal businessoutcomes.

Unlike advisory roles focused on recommendations, this positiondirectly supports strategy through execution: shaping priorities, designingoperatingmechanisms, driving alignment across a global matrix, and ensuring follow-through that delivers measurable impactacross commercial process, technology, and analytics.

This is a high-visibility, high-expectation role for individuals who thrive in ambiguity,operatewith pace, and want to convert strategy into sustained performance.

Key Responsibilities

Strategy Execution& Operating Rhythm

  • Partner with the Sales Operations and Effectiveness leadership teamto shape and operationalize transformation strategy-translating executive intent intoclearpriorities,operating cadences, andmeasurable outcomesacross a complex global matrix.


  • Benchmark leading technology, AI, and operating practices from top-performing companies to set internal standards and drive disciplined, world-class execution across Sales Operations & Effectiveness.


  • Design, support, lead, and continuously evolveSO&Eoperating mechanisms, including planning cycles, business reviews, strategy sessions, and global decision forums


  • Drive discipline, transparency, and follow-through across the SO&E operating rhythm.


  • Partner closely with the VP, Global SalesIntelligence,VP, Global SalesEnablement,and Sr. Director, Global Commercial Technology to activate strategy,problemsolve anddrive major initiatives forward.

Operational Execution

  • Act as a strategic integrator across Global Sales Intelligence, Sales Enablement, and Commercial Technology to accelerate execution of high-impact initiatives.


  • Identifyperformance, process, and capability gaps through data-driven analysis and structured problem solving.


  • Ensure decisions convert into action-tracking progress, removing obstacles, and reinforcing accountability.


  • Plan, prepare, and lead and/or co-leadworkshopsspanning global design and implementation of commercial process, commercial technology, and commercial analytics.


  • Integrate data-driven insights into planning and improvement cycles to prioritize opportunities, measure progress, and reinforce accountable execution.

BD Excellence Deployment

  • Drivethedeploymentand scaling of BD Excellence capabilitiesacross the Sales Operations & Effectivenessorg, includingKaizen,TransactionalProcess Improvement(TPI),VisualManagement (VM), Problem SolvingProcess (PSP),and StandardWork.


  • Facilitate kaizens and structured problem-solving (PSP) sessions with commercial and functional leaders and teams - driving sustained, measurable improvements to key performance indicators (KPI).


  • Identify and resolve performance, process, and capability gaps through a consultative approach with internal and external stakeholders.

Cross-FunctionalInfluence&Communication

  • Operate effectivelyat pace and serve as a connective catalystacrossa highly matrixed global organization, influencing senior Commercial, IT, Marketing,Regional,and Sales Operations leaderswithout direct authority


  • Buildexecutive-ready narratives and materialsthat synthesize complex issues into clear insights and decisions at pace.


  • Support senior leaders by structuring ambiguity, surfacing trade-offs, and enablingfast, high-quality decision making.

Change Leadership and Culture

  • Act as a change champion, challenging legacy paradigms, promoting operational rigor and continuous improvement to enhance both speed and quality of outcomes.


  • Foster a culture ofaccountability, learning agility, andexecutionexcellence across Sales Operations&Effectiveness.


  • Drive adoption of new tools, processes, and behaviors through structured change management and engagement.

Qualifications

  • 3-5+years in Strategy & Operations,ManagementConsulting,orChiefofStaff; preferred experienceworking in consultingor forafast-pacedtech company.


  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.


  • Demonstrated ability to quickly understand strategy, intent, and enterprise priorities and convert them into executable plans without detailed direction.


  • Proventrack recordofoperating with minimal oversight, setting direction within defined guardrails, and making sound judgment calls in ambiguous situations.


  • Experience translating ambiguous goals into clear operating expectations, metrics, and accountability mechanisms.


  • Proven ability todefine standards, measure adherence, and enforce follow-throughin complex, matrixed environments.


  • Proven ability tooperateeffectively in complex, global, matrixed organizations.


  • Highlearning agility and able to ramp quicklyinto new contexts.


  • Strongproblem-solvingcapability using structured methodologies(e.g.,Kaizen,5S, DMAIC, A3/Pareto); Lean Business System Certified Practitioner (CP) is a plus.


  • Excellent executive communications skills (PowerPoint, written synthesis, executive presentations).


  • Excellent interpersonal and influencing skills with the ability to build a coalition of support from partners.


  • Demonstrated comfortoperatingin ambiguous, dynamic environments.


  • Must be able to work and attend meetings during standard Eastern Time (ET) business hours (approximately 9:00am - 5:00pm ET) and flex to work with global audiences as necessary.
  • Must be able to travel up to 50% domestically and internationally.
