Job Description
Reporting to the Accounting & Tax Supervisor, the successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy, compliance, and timeliness of all VAT-related processes, while supporting the broader administrative and accounting operations of the Company.
Key Job Tasks
- Ensure correct VAT coding for AP and AR transactions
- Prepare and submit periodical VAT settlements (monthly settlements, LIPE) ensuring accuracy and completeness
- Support the preparation of the annual VAT return
- Manage Intrastat declarations and EC sales/purchase listings
- Manage withholding tax reporting and support tax return preparation
- Perform sales agents' commissions accounting and reconciliations
- Collaborate on month-end and year-end close process, supporting US Gaap and Statutory Financial Statement preparation
- Perform balance sheet reconciliations to general ledger
- Collaborate with SSC (Shared Services Center) and CoE (Center of Excellence) , ensuring postings comply with local statutory requirements
Job Requirements
- Accounting Diploma or Degree in accounting and finance
- At least 5-10 years of experience in accounting, with strong hands-on VAT experience
- Deep knowledge of Italian VAT legislation and statutory Italian GAAP
- Advanced Excel skills and familiar with the use of SAP S4 Hana
- Fluent in written and spoken English, preferably C1
- Team working and result orientation
- Problem solving attitude
- Critical Thinking
- Able to work under tight deadlines
The Annual salary range for this position is: 40.000 -47.000 eur.
