Job Description
The Senior Account Manager at Becton Dickinson (Thailand) Ltd is responsible for managing and growing key customer accounts, developing strong relationships with healthcare professionals, and achieving sales targets for BD's innovative medical technology solutions within Thailand. This role requires a deep understanding of the healthcare market, exceptional sales acumen, and a commitment to driving customer satisfaction and business growth.
Job Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute strategic account plans to achieve and exceed sales targets and market share objectives for assigned product portfolios within designated territories.
- Cultivate and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key opinion leaders, healthcare professionals, procurement departments, and other relevant stakeholders in hospitals, clinics, and government institutions.
- Identify customer needs and effectively articulate the value proposition of BD's products and solutions, including clinical benefits, economic advantages, and workflow improvements.
- Lead complex sales cycles, from prospecting and needs assessment to proposal generation, negotiation, and closing deals.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams, including marketing, clinical applications, technical support, and customer service, to ensure seamless customer experience and integrated solutions delivery.
- Monitor market trends, competitive activities, and customer feedback to identify new business opportunities and inform product development strategies.
- Prepare and deliver compelling presentations, product demonstrations, and training sessions to customers and internal teams.
- Manage sales pipelines, forecast sales accurately, and report on progress against targets regularly.
- Adhere to all company policies, ethical guidelines, and relevant healthcare regulations.
- Participate in industry conferences, workshops, and events to represent BD and network with key stakeholders.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Science, or a related field. An MBA is a plus.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive sales experience in the medical device, pharmaceutical, or healthcare industry, with at least 3 years in a senior account management role.
- Proven track record of consistently achieving and exceeding sales targets.
- Strong understanding of the Thai healthcare market, including key players, purchasing processes, and regulatory landscape.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills in both Thai and English.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships at various levels within an organization.
- Strategic thinking with the ability to develop and execute comprehensive account plans.
- Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to travel frequently within Thailand as required.
- Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
