Segment Reporting Analyst

Job Description Summary

We are currently looking for outstanding Segment Reporting Analyst. Key services to be provided in this role in support of the Business Planning and Analysis organization for key BD businesses in the area of medical devices and/or services.

Job Description

Main responsibilities will include:

• Work closely with BP&A Business team and Regional Business team to understand the business needs to be able to ask development to Data Analysts and work with them.
• 1st point of contact for Business, for Power BI navigation, bookmark, super users training.
• Support on BPC RevP/FSM questions mainly for Planning.
• Support for mass load in BPC RevP/FSM if needed (eg: Instrument depreciation (from S4H in BPC) for actual & planning).
• Training for EMEA Business team & BP&A Business Team on Power BI (in collaboration with Data Analysts if needed) and BPC RevP/FSM
• Ability to develop tools supporting BU team needs

About you

• Our ideal candidate is passionate about working with business intelligence tools, is comfortable accessing and working with big data from various sources, able to think big while paying careful attention to detail, enjoy the challenge of data complexity, recognize and adopt standard methodologies in reporting and analysis (i.a. data integrity, validation). Additionally, to the above skills we would be ideally looking for:
• Very good technical skills: system / reporting tools knowledge (BW, Power BI, SAP, BPC Revenue Planning), Excel at expertise level and ability to deal with a lot of data.
• Very good analytical skills & presentation skills
• Solid understanding and application of corporate finance tools, techniques and analysis, as well as forecasting, budgeting and planning techniques
