Job Description

Responsibilities:

• Verify inbound shipping documents (BL, Invoice, Packing list, Country of Origin doc, inbound deliveries, freight invoices) with forwarders and suppliers, and follow-up if there's any discrepancies, missing documents or any price errors, origin confirmation, etc.
• Monitor inbound shipment status in Control Tower program
• Forward shipping documents to custom broker for import export clearance at Customs and relevant follow-ups and communications
• Verify overall inbound freight-in costs with vendors e.g. air ocean freights with freight forwarders, bonded warehouse and handling costs, in-land trucking and brokerage to process payment with Shared Service Center finance teams.
• Verify duty amount to be paid is properly captured and process payment with Shared Service Center.
• Process inbound damage claims to freight forwarders
• Maintain import export declaration documentation as company record
• Ensure compliance of company policies and practices that are being followed internally and externally
• DC/Warehouse optimization project

• 1-3 years of import export activity working experience
• Proactive, detail oriented
• Basic understanding of supply chain and inbound process, import regulations of medical products
• Logistic vendor communication skill and experiences is preferred.
• Basic understanding of key business goals and relation of supply chain to those goals
• Knowledge of ERP systems, experience in SAP business environment is preferred.
