As the Product Manager, Medication Delivery Solutions (MDS), this role holds accountability for achieving key marketing objectives at the product-line level and for shaping and executing product-specific plans that advance the strategic priorities of the MDS business. The position influences decisions and recommendations that directly impact sales performance and budget outcomes, while managing a formal marketing expense budget that supports top-line growth and contributes to the overall performance of the MDS portfolio.

Functioning as an influential contributor within the department and across the broader organization, the role provides significant input into product-line business decisions, resource allocation, and long-range planning. It plays a critical role in major initiatives, frequently leading cross-functional project teams to ensure effective execution and measurable business impact.

The position requires strong capabilities across core marketing disciplines, including branding, product development, forecasting, and related strategic and analytical skills. These competencies support effective product-line management and contribute to the continued growth and competitive performance of the portfolio.

Responsibilities:

  • Manages all aspects of product marketing plans for assigned product portfolio(s) to ensure the achievement of financial/budget expectations and product line strategies, including market sensing and marketing/portfolio mix.
  • Manages drivers of demand for assigned product line(s) such as pricing strategy, channel strategy, contracting, and product mix.
  • Financial planning/forecasting, demand planning, and RFP/Contract management
  • Work with the global platform marketing team
  • Lead development of selling tools to support execution of portfolio
  • Collaborate and align with the world-wide business on platform strategies
  • Contribute to the development of the Annual Strategic Review process for the platform
  • Act as the main knowledge leader with respects to competitive activities, initiatives, and partnerships to ensure proactive market awareness and action
  • Sales support asrequiredto meet customer needs
  • Organization and execution of National Conferences and Events

Education and Experience required:

  • Bachelor's degree, MBA is an asset
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of business experience in the healthcare industry.Experience may include marketing, sales, sales training, business development.
  • Knowledge and experience of the Canadian Healthcare System and regulatory environment.
  • Experience in identifying market opportunities, conducting market segmentation, executing targeted marketing initiatives, and performing competitive analysis.
  • Additional experience includes forecasting, P&L management, and the development and execution of marketing campaigns.

Skills and Knowledge required:

  • Strong financial and business acumen.
  • Collaborative team player with excellent communication, critical thinking, and interpersonal skills
  • Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority.
  • Demonstrated leadership, creativity and vision.
  • Ability to interact effectively with all management levels
  • Highly organized, with the ability to juggle multiple projects and prioritize under tight deadlines.
  • Well-organized with strong process management capabilities and a disciplined approach to planning and execution.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office suite Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook.
  • Proficient with CRM (Salesforce preferred).
  • Ability to travel between 20 and 40% as needed within Canada and US.

Preferred qualifications:

  • MBA an asset.
  • Fluently bilingual in French an asset

Our salary or hourly rate ranges reward associates fairly and competitively. We regularly review these ranges and factors, such as location, contribute to the range displayed.

Our pay is based on the role and the necessary skills and education to perform it successfully. The salary or hourly rate offered is determined by the role's specific requirements, including any applicable step rate pay system at the work location. Salary or hourly pay ranges are influenced by labor laws and Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA) requirements applicable to the work location which may also affect the workplace arrangement of the role.

Salary Range Information: $85,000 - $135,000 CAD Annual
